No secret I've slowed down quite a bit this week... life caught up to me, really busy day at work which is when I do the bulk of my participating. Hopefully it's not too bad this upcoming final week... unfortunately no real way to predict how it'll go with the nature of my job. I'm looking to go out with a bang at least, despite not having any competitor for first that would warrant it.

Minuano gets 3 Jerseys.

I knew my streak of getting jerseys was too good to be true. I ran out of places to post and didn't care to really push too hard yesterday.

Still, building a lead over Sonic for 2nd is nice. I don't think I've ever gotten 2nd place before in a TdV so that would be fun. I know I've placed lower but that's because most times I'm not trying.

The struglle with David is real, all he does is post just once and he's already a threat xD

It wasn't a bad attempt yesterday from me, though I'm not sure if I can repeat the feat. Like geeo said, posting right now is difficult due to lack of posters as well as threads, and gaining momentum in other fields is kind of hard and more time-consuming.

I hope these last days can spice things up a bit, it's very sad to see the competition agonizing this way with just 5 people doing things.

I'm fairly comfortable making top 10 but I suppose I could make a small push to score a bit higher than 9th place. I could probably pass DavidMcC for 7th or something, top 5 seems too out of reach anyway

1st place is technically still possible but only if Min gets no more points at all which is nearly impossible.

I've built more of a lead for 2nd place though. I think Sonic has resigned himself to 3rd at this point. That's nice for me because I am trying to focus mostly just on getting more posts. If we don't have a busy posting day some time soon I won't be able to hit 30k by the end of July.

That's okay. There wasn't any real need to do it. It just would have been great. I've already made over 350 posts so far this month so I'd need to break over 400 posts to finish the job. I don't expect it but I'm still going to try.

Yeah I got my goal of my 10th monthly green which was my goal so I gladly gave up 2nd once I knew I had green in the bag hopefully I'll be able to join in on posting these last few days.

A wild Furret appeared. Wild Furret used Activity Burst. It's super effective! Davideo7 faints and scores no points.

I sincerely had the need of summarizing the day like that because it's funny it happened this way xD. Thanks to that, now I have some gap to David which will allow me to more or less secure that top 5 by being mildly active, even if that takes time away from other projects I have in mind which will be postponed to next month onwards (goodbye to my chances of a Red jersey too, I wanted to see that one on me so badly).

I'm a bit tired today so I probably won't do much and give David the chance to recover some ground, but it's being tough for me to go back at 100% health for some reason. Still, I'll break 100 points for sure which was a goal of mine when all of this started despite all the days I've missed, so I'm more than happy with my overall performance.

We persist!! I've been slacking but I'm still gonna do enough to make sure I get first!! I'd like to end with 500 points but I'm not 100% sure if it's possible at this point with me not bothering to fight anyone trying to steal banners and then eventually falling to like 3rd-4th place on each while I was logged out. I am at least going to be a little more attentive today but hopefully I remember to be for the rest of the week too.

And I finally made it past the hundred points mark. I had to do some sacrifices, but they were worthy considered what's up ahead in life.

Still three more days to go, so I can't relax. I'm not sure I can post anywhere else as it stands, so today David is scheduled to make up some lost ground against me. Considering I won't have enough time on Friday, I can't leave things up to chance in the last day and so I'll have to search for ways to score high tomorrow.

I'm heavily surprised to stand in 4th for the overall Blue jersey, considering it's one of my weakest. I haven't been doing much to rack up CP like I usually do, so that could explain why it's my second-best jersey of the month. Still, it's interesting to see how overall activity seems to be more focused towards CP and action hunting rather than posting, a totally different approach from not that long ago.

Did yesterday exist? I don't remember.

Looks like basically everything is set now. Technically yellow could switch if I got 2 7 pointers but as long as Min posts a couple times he'll get at least 1 or 2 points and keep that jersey. Blue, green and red are all set. The top 3 is also totally set.

There could be some movement among the bottom 4-10 but unless someone comes in with some big posting/activty then nothing will change there.

Yesterday was pretty quiet though. I wish it had been busier but there isn't much I could do about that. I've already exhausted most of the places to post for the month. There are TONS of places for other people to post in but people don't seem to want to post as much as I do. I guess I'll hit 30k in August instead.

Yesterday almost didn't exist, which is a very sad end to this competition. I hope at least these last two days will have enough to fill the top 5 for every jersey.

It's very easy to run out of places to post in with the current levels of activity. Even I have wanted to post on other threads but either I'm unallowed to due to the "one post per user" rule or because the last post is already mine even if it's from weeks or months ago.

Anyway, I should have my top 5 spot secured, though I won't be able to do much today. I'll try to see if I can set aside some time away tomorrow for a last push should I need it.

Okay I can finally say I've been holding back a little the past few days for today. Time for a little victory lap I think! It's gonna be in spurts for a little while though since I am still on the clock lol

Last Day of Competition!

Final day and it looks like Min is going for 7 points in each category.

I'm going to make use of this and use it to hopefully get to 30k before the end of the day.

My family is out of town and the daughter that stayed behind is hanging out with a cousin today and some other girls tonight so I should have all the time over the next 9 hours to make it happen.

Fun to watch this final day go down if I get time later today I'll join in!

With the outstanding performance of geeo and Min, I have secured that 5th overall spot. Glad to see it actually happened despite the many setbacks I've endured through the month.

We're having a chaotic last day and we love to see it. The perfect way to cap the month and kickstart the real summer. I won't be here to check the final results of today, so I hope this thread remains open during Sunday so I can relive the final outcome.

Min is going for fire today, I sincerely hope he gets to do it. Not because it would give the impression he set himself ablaze upon realizing he's clad in the pride flag, but because I don't think we've seen the combination before or at least in a long time. Anyway, today it's going to be a day etched in the statistics because it's been an awful while since we had so many posts made.
