Last day of competition!

And that's that for the most part. Top 5 are set in stone. I've got my first gray banner win!

And now that I've won it I think I could win it again if I tried. There doesn't seem to be too much competition for it. I might do this again in April or July.

I need 1 more point for 6th place. I have a pretty busy day today, but 1 point should be doable... unless Dauntez decides to fight for it.

Time for my epic comeback! Is what I would say if this hadn't been over for ages lol. I'll definitely have more to say tomorrow but what a tdv from a record setting point of view from a spectator point of view I'm sure anyone paying attention hated this and thought it was boring as can be.


Currently you can only win Gray once David in the past has mentioned maybe making it possible to win twice for users who have been around longer than the 7 years required to qualify for it but right now you can't win it a 2nd time unless David changes it.

Well, I'm not surprised by the results, but it was still fun to mess around with it. Maybe I'll be able to put in more of an effort next time the Tour de Vizzed rolls around? Who knows. Either way, congrats to Furret on the win, and congrats to Geeo on winning the grey! I didn't think I had a chance on either, but the fact I managed to get on the leaderboard at all is more than I was initially expecting. Hopefully everyone else had fun as well!

Looks like I'll be breaking the 800 point barrier on the final day, which is pretty hype. That's the last possible milestone anyone can get to, as 868 is the mathematical limit of a Tour de Vizzed in terms of points.

When you put it that way though, it really was just a no contest. I'm glad on one hand that I got to smash some records, but of course I would have rather had a nice showdown with someone like I have with others in the past such as tgags, Sonic, and tornado.

I'm still proud of all the work that I put into this competition, I've written almost 70.000 words of content for the site this month and earned like 7.700 CP doing so. It may be a boring TdV but I'll remember it fondly for that reason.

Furret wins the Tour de Vizzed!

Furret broke so many records, easily the most records broken by a single user in a single TdV. He won with 815 points which is a massive record (the previous record was by Furret with 617 points), and with a 552 point margin between him and 2nd place, which is also the biggest victory margin. He won all 4 Jersey competitions by a landslide and broke the record for the most points in the Overall Yellow, Blue, Green and Red Jersey competitions.

Congrats Furret on an incredible victory.

What a wild ride this past month has been. It wasn't the most dramatic Tour de Vizzed, but a historic one nonetheless.

I doubt anyone is touching 815 points any time soon, closest anyone has ever gotten to that is still over 200 points shy.

All the stars had to align for me to put out this performance:

- Supercrash dropping out early who would have been a good threat

- My main posting competitors Dauntez and Sonic getting themselves DQ'd in Yellow early on

- Good competitors like janus, Novemberjoy, and SacredShadow randomly turning up near the later half of the month, but never more than one of them on a particular day to split my attention

- Geeo being content just riding in my passenger seat by getting second places to cruise to his Gray Banner win

- Me being stupid willing to put tons of time and effort over the month, while still trying to compete in a way that also contributed a lot to the site.

And of course general activity isn't what it used to be back in the day. I have no illusions that I could have done this even back in 2019 or something, let alone earlier.

Congrats to Geeo on Gray, and I'll be looking forward to seeing who competes next time!

I fell out of the batlle in the last days due to real life taking me away from here, but in the end my positions were secured. Top 5 in all jerseys as well as an overall 4th place is a magnificent result considering the amount of free time I had this month.

I wish I could have done more, but I'll compensate that by not stopping during these next months. I'll be a lot more relaxed now that workload won't be as heavy, so I can focus on advancing a few things.

Furret was on another galaxy the past month, it's insane that he collected nearly 94% of all the possible points. It was such an historic performance which greatly shows what he's capable of doing whether or not there are other consistent competitors. The rest of us could only attempt to steal a few points from him and very few actually nabbed a jersey from him. No wonder positions were so close from 2nd downwards.

The remaining competition(s) of this year now will have a very difficult time to make it to the headlines after this start. We'll see what time has in store for us and who will be stepping up to compete and try their luck.

Me and Furret talked about like what is even possible in tdv early last month and we both agreed 800+ would probably never happen so to see 815 is insane I can't imagine anyone coming close really cause I think most people myself included would be fine calling it quits or just doing whatever jersey they liked the rest of the month if they secured victory on like day 20.

I already said it on call and such but once again Congrats Furret!

Also super happy to see geeo finally win gray it's been a long time coming I know he wanted to get it done like 5 years ago but someone got in the way then so very happy he was able to achieve it this go around.

Furret : thanks! Congrats to you too. I don't know if anyone will be able to beat your score....

I think 868 (31 * 28) is the best score you can get in a month so there isn't much room for improvement.

And I am glad I got the gray. Now I just need to get to 30k posts.....

Well, that was fun. I don't see Furret's score being beaten any time soon, but hopefully that means there'll be more competition for the next TdV event.

The fact that I placed at all is surprising - if it weren't for Geeo, I would've gotten the gray jersey somehow, and that's kinda funny given I barely did anything.

Who knows? Maybe next time I'll be able to put in some serious time.
