I don't know if there are any games that I hate, but I find first person shooters in general to be pretty repetitive and uninteresting. I used to like Call of Duty when I was in middle school / high school, but I could never really get into any other first person shooter games.

tgags123: seems understandable since fps games usually use the same formula instead of adding their own twist to fps games

I hate standard fighting games because I don't find 99% of them to be interesting enough to play for more than an hour. The only exception for me was Super Smash Bros, but I can't get into anything else.

I hate all the games where Sonic The Hedgehog wins!

Basically ANY game that uses shady or predatory practices like spying, psychological manipulation tactics and Lootboxing.

Oh, and Macrotransactions. Never forget the people and families that had to deal with tens of thousands of dollars being spent on ''''free'''' mobile games.

It's a sad reality we have to face.

Not really hate, but something I find universally annoying when it shows up. Games that take ages to do something. Like in Der Langrisser, with how it takes 4822 to move all of your units in your turn. I know there's an AI to assist, but much like the enemy AI, it is incapable of strategizing.

Let's see I hate games with lots of grinding so a lot of old RPGs I hate gacha games but if we wanna be specific the 2 games I hate the most are Sonic and the Secret Rings and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain Of Memories. Sonic I hate because it's sucks to control with a wii remote and using motion controls to homing attack and to move Sonic and also for playing Seven Rings in Hand on repeat though almost every song in the game is very repetitive makes me feel like I'm going insane playing it. Whoever though changing the Kingdom Hearts combat into a card game mechanic I hate you.

I hate Fall Guys, it's just so dumb, and I also hate another game that I forgot the name of.

First person shooter games were never really my thing. I also just suck at using two joysticks to move and aim at the same time. Oh and I despise having to reload constantly.

I also dislike battle arena games like League of Legends. I get bored pretty much instantly and games feel like they drag on for hours.

I hate fps games online. I don't want to compete against some douchebag who plays all the time and makes the game no fun to play.

Plus, I'm getting old. My reflexes with games aren't what they used to be. I don't need a 10 year old schooling me at a game. I'd rather play something offline and slower paced and enjoy myself.

In the gaming space?
FPS. I just really hate trying to be interactive and then dudes camp out in a spot and just wait for you to come and kill you.


On the medium or mobile side:
Gacha games, they're a disgrace imo.

I hate Fall Guys, most annoying game because it feels rigged even if it isn't, and the characters are ugly, and yeah.

The ones I can't play on this site.....just kidding I'm aware that some Nintendo games can't be played here but it's kind of frustrating or some aren't playable because they're buggy even on a RetroArch

I like to say that I have VERY low standards... there's no one specific genre I dislike (eh maybe visual novels, but even then I can think of some exceptions), there's no one specific feature that can be included in a game that would make me hate the game as a whole... a majority of games I play I typically just like them. There might be some I "hate" as a bit (i.e. some Sonic games I love to dog on but in actuality I'm just indifferent to them) but at the end of the day the list of games I actively dislike is very small. All that to say... when I recognize my standards are THAT LOW, I REALLY hate those games that still don't hit it! I set you up for success and you STILL failed!!!

I'll only name the most recent example... Pokemon Legends ZA is the most failed concept I think I've ever seen in my life, and that's coming from someone who has a more positive opinion of modern Pokemon than other people do. You basically get the idea of the entire game between hours 4-5 (because the first 3 hours have a deathgrip on your hand and refuse to let you do anything). The music NEVER changes, the combat NEVER changes, all the areas look the EXACT same, all the Pokemon are just glorified stat sticks because they don't have abilities that make them any different from each other, they removed focus from the one thing that made Arceus unique and interesting... I could go on and on. I appreciate them trying to branch out, I really do! But it's my (apparently unpopular) opinion that sadly this game is (Poke)balls.
