When It comes to TMNT, most think the old show was better, while some think the new one is better. To me old one was a complete classic. It was ahead of its time. Then there is the new series, even though isn't like the orignal, it has more dark elements to it, so this is the question I like to ask on my first post. Which TMNT is better the orignal or, the new one?

I guess it depends on what generation watched them I know mine liked to old ones but the other generations like my nephew like the new one better. But I like the old one because it had a lot of funny in it.

The old one!!! The new future one doesnt seem right, cuz every time I see it I remember the old one and think "they look out-of-place now." The show started in the sewer! They grew up in the sewer! You can't throw them into a timeline that doesnt use sewers! Lol.

I say this for most originals, that they are the foundation for what we see today. I liked the old ones because that's what I grew up watching. I even had had the TMNT underwear, all the action figures, etc. Without the classics we would have know fresh new ones out. It's just a platform for it all.

I used to watch the old Turtles before I went to school every morning, 2nd grade I think. I was really into it, had all the vid games, and collected the toys. I'm still a fan of the old cartoons like Spider-man and X-men, even some present-day cartoons that air on TV Saturday mornings. But as I'm older now, the maturity level of the new Turtles vs. the old is more fitting.

I have to say that the best TMNT episodes were the old ones. Both eras of TMNT episodes are good, but the old ones (I found) had a much more intresting storyline, and were quite addictive, as in they made you want to watch them again and again.

I watched it a little, but generally leaned towards the shows that were on TV at the time (Pokemon, for example). Looking back now, I think it's a great show compared to all the junk that children see on TV these days. I'd probably start watching cartoons on Saturday mornings if they put some of the classics back on (at least, on local or standard channels).
