The RGR Plugin 2022+.msi file that we released a year ago is no longer valid. This is because the SSL certificate associated with that installer expired and I messed up a few things when I went to renew it. This is why the games in the Retro Game Room stopped working about a month ago.

We have a new installer which you can get here:
RGR Plugin 2023+.msi

You will have to uninstall the RGR Plugin 2022+ on your computer before installing that, if you have the RGR Plugin 2022+.msi installed.

To uninstall it:
  1. Go to Add or remove programs, which you can access by typing into your Windows search bar.
  2. Find RGR Plugin 2022+.msi from the list and uninstall it.1693699478.png
  3. Then go ahead and install the new RGR Plugin 2023+.msi.

I want to give a HUGE thanks to supercool22 and pokemon x for their recent donations, which helped pay for this new installer.

I want to address an issue i had after updating to the RGR Plugin 2023+. I started a game and the launch failed. I immediately fixed the issues when i allowed "VizzedFirefoxHttpServiceLauncherCpp" to run as admin.

The folder destination for that is C:\Program Files (x86)\Vizzed\RGR Plugin 2023+ Update : If anyone is having launch failures aswell

Davideo7 : I actually didn't restart my PC. Restarting your PC does prevent it from happening lol. My bad.

Though you could always give "VizzedFirefoxHttpServiceLauncherCpp" admin perms if you don't want to restart your pc (or just as lazy as me)

So I don't know if I should mention it here or a separate thread..

Suddenly between the time of the posting of this thread and like 1am a user reported in discord that emulatorjs is now giving them network error issues..

On my phone(Android) I am also having the issue but on my PC(Windows 10) I am not. The user that reported it uses Chromebook.

Unsure if just coincidence of this happening but I thought it would be wise to go ahead and bring it up.

pokemon x : I haven't done anything with EmulatorJS prior to now. But since I also seem to have issues with NES games in EmulatorJS, I decided to upgrade to the latest version of EmulatorJS and that seems to have made my problems go away. It also runs a lot smoother as well.

Let me know if that helps.

Davideo7: I still get the error on phone and so does the person on chromebook. I suggested he try the retroarch emulator but he states that is laggy on chromebook so I think he really prefers the emulatorjs emulator.


Personally don't get why it would work on one system and not another.

pokemon x : What games and systems are you guys testing out? And what kind of phone do you have? And what internet browser are you using on your phone and is he using on his chromebook?

The the more info the better so that I can recreate the issue.
