Where do we go when we die? do we go to a holding area until jesus appears on earth? or do we go straight to hell or heaven?

I am not sure. But I think that we are wandering in the world of the living persons, untill the big day.
But this is only one speculation, I don't really know.

Because there is a final judgement after the millenium that we will all go through which decides where we go for sure.

It's a little too early for me to actually take the time to find scriptures to back this up.... but that's what I understand it to be.

Yup, completely how I see it also.

The bible say's that we either go to heaven or we go to hell. So there is life after death. Look at Don piper, he was killed in an accident. And yet he had an account of what personally happened to him while he was dead.

I think we don't go straight to heaven or hell, we arrive in a waiting area for God to judge us.

We will go all to heaven. And we will be reincarnated as a different person but with the exact same families and friends.

Perhaps you are given a choice to walk into the light? Those who don't enter the light for judgement will reside here on earth as ghosts for eternity while those who do enter the light will be judged (like in the movie ghost). Might be a risk taking judgment so many people probably dont bother going towards the light. There might be heaven, there might be hell, but I think there is an alternate place here on earth where you don't go to either. A place where lost souls go.

From what I have seen about ghosts they usually stay in one place the place where they die and cannot go anywhere else. I don't know a whole lot about it but I think ghosts cannot go anywhere unless they have enough energy to. Just like how they need enough energy to reveal themselves. They are basically stuck where they died and are helpless. That explains why some places are haunted and others are not. If a ghost were to move around he or she would probably have to possess a human in the process.

JigSaw : Well, ghost aren't always attached to the place of their death. That usually happens when someones murdered or there is a suicide. Sometimes they are attached to objects, places that meant a lot to them, or even certain people. Usually they can't go anywhere else though (can't be sure about that though). I think it's more likely they don't want to move around.

Zamiel : No way to tell for certain but I think it proves that there is an alternate place between heaven and hell, possibly where you can avoid judgement or you have already been judged and are not fit for heaven or hell lol.

There's no way to tell. Do we automatically go to heaven merely for saying that we believe in God? What if we don't actually believe, or we do but do not act as if we believe? Does that make us automatically go to hell? Is there one of those limbo places, in between, while we await judgment as predicted in Revelations?
Not sure. I would hope to go to heaven and have a perfect reincarnation life there, but I'm not sure if that will happen.

There's no real way to know this until we die, in which case I doubt we'd be posting here.

We go to either heaven or hell. There is no such thing as a holding area or a purgatory.

"And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment," (Hebrews 9:27)

I still think we will be judged, than either heaven or hell.

If we are truly sorry for the sins we have committed and believe in Gods unconditional love and mercy, then we will go to Heaven, If we are not sorry for what we have done and also know God exsits but we decide to follow Satan, then we will go to Hell. That's just my interpratacion.

Where we go when we die is a complete mystery unto itself, and we'll never know until we die ourselves, or if we even go anywere in the first place. different people belive
different things, and it's not my place to say. as a gamer, i say when we finaaly run out of lives, and we get the game over screen, we either go to the ultra-happy awesome bonus

The people who died and did experience an after life is proof that there is a heaven for those who are one of God's.

this is so easy to answer noone knows nobody is half dead and alive there are beliefs tho heaven hell reincarnation which means we are born again i dont beleave in that but some people do my belief is we go to heaven no fights no bad or we go to hell all bad and all fights and burns and crazy s*** excuse me for language but yea that's it

When we die, we go to a temporary place. If you believed, you go to paradise, where you wait for judgment in comfort and joy. If you did not believe, you go to Hades, where you wait for judgment in discomfort and shame. Those in paradise will be with Jesus, and they will soon enter Heaven, whereas those in Hades will be removed from it, and thrown into Hell.
