It's that time of year where I demote the Admins. For those who don't know, Admins now serve a 6 month term and then they are demoted back to Global Mod. The former admins can apply for their positions but this gives the other Globals a chance at being an Admin.

Global Moderators : Respond to this thread with your admin application. Tell us why you should be an admin on this website. 2 admins will be selected from the 5 global moderators and those 2 admins will serve a 6 month long term and then we'll repeat this same process again in 6 months.

Voting will begin on Monday, June 29th, and will end on Thursday, July 2nd.

When I signed up for this website a little chitlin, played some pokemon, maybe a sonic rom hack or two, never really imagined being even a global, But here I am.

The only real incentive that I can give is that I ain't one to go mad with power. I just enjoy being on the site as i've said it is the only forum i come back to.

I won't be applying this time. I'm actually leaving staff entirely. I've been thinking about it for a while, and have decided to just act on my gut feeling rather than delay it til the 29th if this was going to be the result anyway.

It's been a wonderful run. I'm really happy that I got to work as the right hand man for such a long period of time, and I'm glad to have improved the site in general - we saw a good tick of increased activity over these last nearly two years. But I think it's time for someone else to take the reigns and put a new type of energy into the site, while I think it's time I put my own energy into something new in my personal life.

I don't plan to vote, but I have nothing but well wishes to the winners of this election. My only request is the admin who takes my spot is the one who demotes me.

Thank you to everyone, especially my wonderful staff team, both those who are active now and those who left due to their own reasons, who made this a fun experience not only for myself, but were able to help me make the entire board a fun experience for everyone.

I'm applying again. I had a weird admin term these past 6 months, with the database issue and then the whole lockdown situation. There wasn't enough time for us to get a lot of the things done that we wanted to so I would like to finish what we started.

I'm still running on the same principle as before. My one and only goal is to make the site and everything around it more fun. I never want this place to spiral down again like it did a few years back. Community involvement is key for that and I'd like to believe Minuano and myself were among the most well integrated admins when it comes to the general userbase.

At the end of the day I feel like admins should represent the users of the site. My DMs are always open for questions or suggestions. If there's anything I'll take away from my first term it's that I was never afraid to bring stuff up to David. Any good suggestion will be met with an answer.

After thinking about if I should apply right now I've decided that I wanna apply because Vizzed has been a huge part of my life growing up and I've always wanted to do whatever I can to help the site and I know I'll continue doing that whatever way possible. I honestly never ever imagined being a Global I use to have Local as a goal on my profile but eventually took it off cause I figured that would never happen so honestly even having the chance to apply for admin is insane to me and humbling in a way at the same time.

While I can't say I have the same amount of activity over the years as some of the others I do think I've always stayed active in the community enough for people to know who I am. I can't promise any insane increase in activity or anything if I'm hired so I'll promise the one thing I know I can, I'll always do my best. Even if I'm not hired it won't change anything for what I wanna do which is simply the best I can at for the site regardless of my position.

I would also like to be considered as an admin on this site. I know this is my first post in at least a month (probably 2-3) but I don't think that would represent my activity if I were a mod. I know I would become super active instantly once I became staff again and wouldn't stop ever again

I think it's been a long time coming that a fire bird take control of this board. I believe I have all of the qualifications of being a previous local moderator and a current vizzed elite member with zero global time on the site, yes, I am the prime canidate for this job and no one can deny it that this job was meant for me. This may be the first post in months, butt think about what I could do for this site with my lack of posting, it would be astronomical.and this sites activity would be booming within days
