I fixed a few bugs and added a new item.


Extra Trap
Lets you deploy an additional trap on a page while you already have a trap active on another page. It's a 1 time use item which means that once you deploy an extra trap, the item is gone. However, you can deploy multiple extra traps at a time and you still have the option of choosing which trap to deploy.

There are only 2 ways of earning this item at the moment:

1. You have a 30% chance of obtaining this item each time you visit vizzed for the first time each day.

2. I made 100 available in the Vizzed Market for a limited time for 500 Viz each:

Bug Fixes
I recently found out that when you use an item, you get charged twice for it. For example, if you deployed a Steel Trap, you'd lose 2 Steel Traps instead of 1. This issue has been fixed.

I also fixed the issue if it not showing who has a trap on a page when you have an active trap somewhere else. So for example, you could only see who has a trap on the current page that you're on if you didn't have any active traps but as soon as you had a trap deployed, this information was hidden. That was not intentional and this issue is now fixed.

Glad to see this April Fools joke stays healthy and updated nearing its anniversary.

I wasn't aware of the charging twice glitch, but reading about it made me think: why not add a counter of sorts in your GO page to keep track of how many special items you have? Because it's hard to notice when exactly do you earn an item beyond the first daily login.

I hope we can get even more functions to work. I remember the talks to override traps, protect yourself from being trapped and a few other things we brought up that could both give use to Viz and even spur friendly competitions.

EX Devil : I had laid out a bunch of plans for Vizzed GO, all of which I still plan to do but only after I get some other more important things taken care of. Maybe I'll have a big update in time for the anniversary, we'll see.

I eventually plan to make it so that it shows your trap quantity but for the time being, you'll just have to see which items you own from this page:

Wow, I have 25 Sticky traps... I thought that I could lay down almost as many as I earned through my staff role, but I was obviously wrong xD

The Extra Trap will come in handy next TdV, given how each user can be caught more than once thanks to jerseys and banners and that people are prone to level up much quicker, allowing for more catches. I might as well stock up on that for a big summer hunt xD

zanderlex : Oh, you don't seem to realize how many times I've caught you on that page (and how many times I've been caught there while trying to set a trap myself xD)

This reminds me, there used to be a trap in the New Reply page. Initially my biggest catches happened there, but it suddenly stopped showing. Was it intentional because it indeed is a page where we can spend a lot of time making our posts, thus making it somewhat unfair to set traps there, or is it a bug?

EX Palen : It was removed from that page for 2 reasons:

1. It didn't flow with the look of the page (it was removed from all pages that don't have the "Welcome Box", the box with all of the links.

2. The site doesn't view the reply pages as unique pages, it views them all as 1 page which would make having a trap on that page be pretty OP since it covers all reply pages. And since the duration of the traps are based on page view count, that page doesn't have as many views as other pages since guests can't view them so the duration of those pages were way too long.

I bought one, David, but I don't think the option to add a 2nd trap has popped up, because I don't think it's ever popped up on a page for me to try to use.
Sticky and Steel are still there, though. (I haven't gotten a Steelky in awhile).

You didn't mention it so I just wanted to give you a quick shout-out and thank you for changing the seconds into minutes. I'm fairly receptive of the conversion due to my hobbies, but nonetheless it's still much easier to just see the minutes outfront lol

I'm glad you plan to keep this feature around. Definitely one of the ones I appreciate most.

Glad to see this feature is still alive and kicking and I think the new traps will add an extra reason to be careful during TDV if anyone wants to avoid being caught, having a trap on new posts as well as vizzed board would honestly get me all the time.

Oooooooohhhhh, so that's what those thingamabobs are. So what do we do with our trapped members, lol.
