I almost forgot to do this, but I've finally been here about ten years. Granted, I disappeared for large swaths of time, but I've always kept this place in my thoughts. I was scrolling through my old messages the other day, and figured I'd share my newbie thread here.

It's interesting that so many people know me now, yet I didn't even get much of an introduction. I also needed to learn to apply grammar in my typing. I'm certain I knew punctuation at least, I guess I was just lazy? I have no excuse for spelling errors though..

I see Breakdown, vizwiz, and Noelia here, all people who I miss dearly. alexanyways: Who is still my good friend replied also. His layout definitely needed some work at the time.
The Vaike made a surprise appearance in this thread, but of course, he didn't exist back then, so it's interesting to see how user picture updates screw with thread context.


Here is my 1000 posts milestone. We can observe different members at play. Last I heard from her, crazycatpup's life is going alright, which I'm glad. There were many troubling situations she ended up caught in during 2011 - 2012. Pacman and Leggy appear here. They likely knew me as I frequented the chat through the summer. Vizzed Ghostblood self identified as my posting rival, yet I haven't talked with him in forever. My friend and our current Admin Minuano: shows up in this thread. I'm glad he's stuck around since. There are many others I could mention here, but it'll just get too wordy.


All in all, I want to celebrate the people I got to meet, rather than gloat over a milestone. I miss many, such as MegaRevolution, and James, whose name I can no longer write out. There are several I've left out of this, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my time with them too. You're all wonderful people, especially Clovertheclever: Who has sent me absolutely no bribes for this plug I assure you.

Thank you all for reading this and allowing me to accompany you on this journey. I'm sure the stragglers still around who I did not reference or summon may stumble upon this some year. So for those who do, I wish all of you a wonderful year.

I didn't realize we registered just two weeks apart. I always assumed you registered at least a month before me.

Happy belated anniversary. If I hadn't been so busy this month I would have caught you on time. Let's hope we both come back for the next big milestone!

Congrats on ten years, man. I'm glad we've reconnected recently (even if we largely discuss politics lately, which is fine lmao) and I'm even more glad that you're around in the first place.

If you're curious on the status or such of most of the members you mentioned, I can tell you. I'm connected (or at least Facebook friends with lmao) with most of them so I can tell you how life has been treating them recently, or at least if they're still kicking.
