I had been wondering for a while if rented forums would re-appear on the front page if they were bumped after a while. Turns out, they do!

The mod team has been discussing for a while re-selling some of the dead rented forums. We're still having that discussion, but since THIS one is technically mine, I'm gonna go ahead and sell it now without waiting for that discussion to wrap up. Since I'm a global I'll even clean out the forum after some interest is shown (forum was too old for me and everyone else to be added as a page admin back then, so this forum has no admins), no need for you to do it.

I think I'll do this bidding style. Starting price will be 50,000 Viz. I'll wrap it up, say... January 7th after the daily server maintenance (midnight server time). You can pool Viz across multiple members to turn them all into mods, I don't care. HOWEVER, to prevent (or at least slow down) the mindless last-minute bidding at the end, you will only be allowed one bid an hour on the last day.

Somewhat following up with what yoshi said, I'd like to recommend implementing a minimum bid raise amount. It'd help stop all this 1+ Viz stuff, and help the auction go a bit faster.
