Furret : The list in the first post only shows 4 challenges, 2 for site wide and 2 for individuals. I haven't posted the updated agenda yet, which has now evolved to 9 main challenges and a bunch of smaller ones. So there's going to be a lot more to do tomorrow.

Since it is now national posting day, I’d like to offer this post as my participation.

I feel like I may have burnt myself out before national posting day. I'll try to make at least 50 posts, but I don't know how many more than that I'll be able to manage. It'll be easier to post more if other people are posting a lot too, so I hope you all participate!

Today is National Posting Day! All you have to do is post and win prizes. Every post counts and the more posts there are, the bigger the prizes.


Side-wide Goals

1. If the site reaches 500 total, the following will be rewarded:

The 5 users with the most posts will get 50,000 Viz each and will get 5 games from my Steam game thread for free.

All the remaining games from the steam game thread will be available to all users for free at up to two games per user.


2. If the site reaches 1,000 total posts, the following will be rewarded:

The 5 users with the most posts will split an additional prize pool of at least 300,000 Viz. The prize pool will go up for every post made above 1,000.

Nearly all games in the Vizzed Market will be 25% off. Users will have the ability to tell me what games they want and I will buy them from the market and sell them for 25% off. Games must not cost more than 50,000 Viz and this would run until 250,000 Viz worth in discounts has been claimed.

For both 500 and 1000 posts, their are extra prizes based on who finishes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in posts.


3. If we somehow get to 2000 posts, all hell will break loose and the 10 users with the most posts get a lot of Viz.

4. If 50 different users make at least 1 post, 5 random users who posted are going to walk away with 10,000 Viz.

5. If 100 different users make at least 1 post, 12 of those users will walk away with 12,000 Viz.

6. If 25 threads are made, 1 thread maker will win a Viz prize.

7. If 50 threads are made, 2 thread makers will win a better prize.


Individual goals

8. Any user who makes 25 posts will get 10,000 Viz.

9. Any user who makes 60 posts will get an additional 15,000 Viz.

10.Any user who makes 100 posts will get an additional 25,000 Viz.

So for example, any user with 100+ posts gets 50,000 Viz automatically.

In addition, Minuano and Legacyme3 may still be doing their own prizes for users who reach 100 posts.

11. There will be a bunch of hidden challenges throughout the day that will be randomly won for doing different things. Once a a certain number of users complete the challenge, a winner is picked and then that challenge becomes irrelevant and moves on to the next one.

Some challenges are based on posts per hour, words per post, posts in a certain forum, and much more.




If the site makes 1000 posts and a user finishes in top 5 with 100+ posts, the minimum they will earn is 160,000 Viz and 5 steam games.



The following users all pre registered for this event meaning they have a 1%-10% prize boost randomly assigned to them if they reach a certain level.

I think I'll try maybe getting to 100 posts today. Don't hold your breath though I'm very bad at posting a lot.

I'd have wasted like 8 hours and even then i'd probably be away for like, at least 5 hours today.

I'm gonna just post as many times as I can. My goal is getting at least 25 posts, but I'm gonna go as high as I can...If I try as hard as I can, maybe I could reach 75 or 100 for the first time ever. Perhaps this is the day I finally stop being a posting lightweight and make a ridiculous number of posts...Either way, I hope we make it to 1000, since we got really close a few days ago, and I have a tiny bit of hope that it might be possible to reach 2000 if everyone possible chips in and does more than their fair share.

I'll go for 100, doesn't seem like it'll be that hard, honestly. Just gotta keep posting, maybe I'll even go for 150 later in the day.

NovemberJoy : Just a week ago people were saying 500 posts was going to be difficult and now we almost made it to 1000 a few days ago. That's why I set a 2000 post goal because just in case, who knows what happens.

Oh Christ, 100 posts is what you want from me? Lord, people better post in my threads then if I am going to pull this off.

To be fair, this place was totally dead for quite a while, and a number of members, including me, are coming back recently after the staff restructuring to see what's going on and what's changed. Until that day where people posted a ridiculous amount and Barathemos posted 275 times in one day, it didn't seem likely because it didn't seem like there were that many threads to post in or active posters to fill that quota. Now, even 1000 seems doable.

Come to think of it how much is the usual payout for 25 posts? Like less than 1-2k depending on size?

NovemberJoy : lol, I posted this a few days before New Years but I was talking it over with staff for about 2 weeks before that, and had the idea for another couple weeks before that back around thanksgiving.

Back then there was no activity but I had hope lol. Things worked out for the best.

First of all, apologize for double posting. Second of all, I had no idea you had this in the works so long...I guess your hopes were well-founded, considering how many posts have already been made in less than an hour since it actually became January 7th. Were you motivated at all by the restructuring, or was it just a random idea you kicked around in your head that eventually saw fruition?

Depending on the size, I'd say 500 to 1500 Viz for 25 posts.

The only reason I dread 100+ posts is because I don't want to be a posting machine like I used to be, and I just did 100+ posts a few days ago fighting to take back my blue jersey from Razor.

NovemberJoy : I was off the grid all year. There were a few times where I went 3 weeks without a post. Yet I started being active like the day before the mod applications opened so it was pretty ironic.

One user has already completed the first mystery challenge.

Lexatom made 10 posts in an hour and gets a 5000 Viz prize. (Everything paid out at the end of event.)

Next mystery challenge is... Still a mystery.

Let's see if we can get to 2 stars by the end of the day, that's 1000 Posts. We were close on the weekend, so with a big push tonight when we get off work/school.
