I imagine you either A) have not seen me in forever, or B) you have never met me before. For those of you who fall into the latter category, hello, I’m AuraBlaze. I was a pretty active member of Vizzed from almost the day I signed up in January of 2011 until sometime in the middle of 2014. During that time, I experienced a lot of ups and downs, both my own and of Vizzed. Yes, there had been drama, and there had been cyber attacks, but the community stayed strong.



The people who cared the most about this community were also the most active as well. People debated the latest topics, they shared their interests, they gave a shoulder to lean on when one of them needed it --and I certainly needed it when I was here. To everyone here who have not met me before, perhaps we can get to know each other in time.



Now to the former group. (You all know who you are.) It has been a while, hasn’t it? Four years since I was active in the community. 2015 does not count, that was all Vizzed Market. Things have been up and down for me since I chatted with any of you. As much as I want to share, I think it would be a bit too depressing just to mention them all here at once, and I do not want a pity party. I am sure I will get around to talking about it in time. For now, I will just say that I’m slowly trying to get my life in order. I hope we can get reacquainted.



P.S. If anyone here does coding and can fix my post layout so that it fits the page format, I'm willing to give them some Viz in return.

Welcome back to the site. While I've seen your username around, I can't recall right off the top of my head if we were ever really acquainted. If we were, I apologize for not remembering. I'm not great with names.

Unfortunately, layouts are having some issues currently and most people are having issues making and fixing them. It's something David plans on reworking at some point in time.

I recently returned as well and have been seeking those I communicated with frequently. I recall your activity on the board, and you may remember me. I certainly remember you being active here. Welcome back. Shoot me a PM and I can fill you in on what's happened since your departure, and perhaps we can get a quaint discussion going.

PixelBrick : Sadly, I cannot say I remember you in particular, but maybe that will change with time. As for changes to Vizzed, I went through the Announcements that took place between now and the last time I logged on and saw David's apology. I hope he is doing better as of late. I also heard that site traffic has plummeted. That has not strictly been from the cease & desist Nintendo sent for their games, has it?

AuraBlaze : It's not just the order from Nintendo. It's mostly other issues that aren't suitable for discussion here. Corruption, to name a big one.

I remember seeing your name around, though I doubt we've ever interacted. Glad to see you want to give this place another try now that things are a bit calmer for you.

There have been several issues in the past years, both after and before the Nintendo incident, but the site is changing its ways. I also thought on giving this site a break some two years ago, though now I feel hopeful that Vizzed can recover a bit of what it once was.

Nice to see someone I like back.

Place is mostly dead, but maybe with some returning members who were once active, there's a chance of improvement.

Yes that's right. I had the account since 2013 but I was stuck using Android and Chrome OS for a long time so I wasn't around until recently.

Nah, I never saw much point in changing my name. It's less of a screen name to me than a second name I use on the internet, as much a part of me as my real name is. You could've got me mixed up with someone else since I haven't really contributed much worth noting.

It's hard to forget you, considering your avatar is my favorite Pokemon. Welcome back!

Hey Aura, I only seen you a couple of times here and there on Vizzed, but not a whole lot. The reason why we only seen each other here on Vizzed a couple of times is you became inactive at the same time, I was reaching my peak, and when you were at your peak, I never knew about Vizzed.
