Hello, Vizzed!

    Welp, I completely forgot about this website, but I guess I'm back posting on this board. I was quite active around 4 years back, and reading the archived profile comments and PMs I cannot fathom how I was even tolerated, for St. Peter's sake. Nonetheless, I let the bonds I formed here to waste, as I did foolish things and got banned twice (?) for mistakes I made. Uhh, to keep this short, I came here after a hankering to play A Link to the Past. Perhaps, some members here will remember my presence. I don't really recall of many former friends I had here, so I don't even know who to "summon" (I think you call it) to this thread. Only messaged a couple just to talk with 'em after all this time.

I wanna say that we had exchanged a few messages right before you disappeared, so I definitely noticed your sudden absence. It's great to see you decided to drop back in on us after all this time. Hopefully life has been good for you during your absence.

Yeah, your username was prevalent in my ancient inbox, Eirinn. I am beginning to recall my interactions with you especially. Great to see that you're still back at posting, as I was never one to be that dedicated to forums or subscriptions.

Momo, I remember you as well, and you are likely right about us not conversing particularly often. It's great how much of Vizzed is finally coming back to me, even if I made it self-evident that children don't belong on forum boards unsupervised  

School has been fine, been exploring new interests and such. Family is a whole 'nother subject that's likely better saved for when I spend a little bit more time here, if you know what I mean. Thank you very much for your concerns!

Let me start by saying I remember your name as well. Vizzed is a much more tight-knit community than I recall. As for Vizzed goals, I just want to make use of the RGR, HOPEFULLY assimilate into the community again, gain some trust back and produce more wholesome and educated contributions to the forums. I vaguely remember this subforum, "The Underground" (Of which I likely do not have access to atm), and I remember interacting with folks on there being a lot of fun. Thank you for checking in!

Hey there. Though I recognize your username, I don't recall ever interacting with you much. I probably wasn't as active on the boards when you were. I was only in the chatrooms for the first couple years. I haven't gone back and read any of your old posts but I wouldn't sweat it. A lot changes in that amount of time. Welcome back to the site. Feel free to message if there are any questions or concerns.

Also, congrats on your promotion to Trusted Member. You should have access to The Underground now.

It's uplifting to know mods/admins are respectful of my return. I didn't expece Trusted status that quickly! I don't know what compelled people to rate me, but thanks to the anonymous nonetheless! 

I assume those that recognize my usernane but haven't communicated with me is due to me posting quite often, which i still unfortunately do. 

Hey Pixel I remember you. We used to play together on the minecraft server for a while, seems so long ago now. The site isn't quite as active as it once was, but there's still a decent amount of veterans lurking around. Glad to see you're doing alright.

Hey PB, I remember you very very well. A lot of things has changed since you left, both good and bad. I know last time we meet, I was one of those Local Mods (but not anymore... for now). I to also took a hiatus away from Vizzed, mostly because I walked out because of no confidence towards Vizzed (which most of the users has done, although half of them have already returned)

Zlinqx : I have fond memories of making pixel art on there! What became of the server? 

IgorBird122 : Igor, i have been examining old threads that concern people's criticisms of Vizzed. A lot of quarrel over the trust point system, and i happen to agree with the critique of that system. I will sound blunt here, but this board does feel kinda dead, a shell of its former glory. Perhaps TDV will incite activity, but I've been skeptical of how beneficial that event really is/was to the forums. 

A user that i kept frequent contact with years ago stated that if I left all the friends i made on here would shun me. Now none of them are active! Yippee!  

PixelBrick : Yeah, that was one of the reasons why a lot of people walked out. It was either the broken Trust Point system, the corrupted staffing, the low quality operations of Vizzed, or other means related to Vizzed, and a few is non-Vizzed related reasons (although that's the same amount).

The whole site was on decline since Mid-2015, and even a further decline after I walked out.

The Minecraft server has been up and down a couple times since you've gone and come back. It's been down for quite a while now but there's discussion on what to do with it and David intends to work on it when he gets the chance. You can find the discussion here.

I was a semi-dead user by the time you left, so your name doesn't ring any bell to me. Still, it's good to see people returning after such a long break, and even more to see they're actually opting to stay instead of just pass by.

Want to add to what Igor said here, I had went on hiatus twice. First one was out of my control, but the second one was due to harassment I received from several members from here, both in and out of Vizzed. Not going to go in detail about it, but since no one did anything about it, I lost faith in the staff as well as the site and walked out, only to return after seeing David trying to fix the things that had gone wrong.

I'm not the most active here, especially since I've placed more focused on real life and fanfics, but I do pop in daily and try to make a post every now and then.

Are you enjoying your time on Vizzed so far? I know we're pretty dead, but a few of us still linger here.

EX Palen : I returned mostly to play games that, fantastically, no one bothered to tell me about their removal, lord bless Nintendo's cease and desist order. And to be frank, I envisioned a lot more activity...

I will still peep my head in frequently. 

Momo Aria : Shame on those members that tormented you! Can't say I'm not surprised. This isn't the most harmonious forum I have frequented, I've got to be honest. Likewise with you, I have had a scarce amount of faith in the moderators here, and have heard some atrocious stories of corruption that, I say again, are no overwhelming revelation to me. However, I have heard David is trying to restore this forum, and I can only tip my hat and say good luck to him. He's got one hell of an objective. 

Am I enjoying my time? I still live a busy life (which some users on this forum could not comprehend, even back in the day), and have less time than I usually did. Most enjoyment here stems from PM'ing users that were active when I was. Feel free to PM me, always seeking new buddies!

This may seem very much cynical perspective that contradicts me returning, but I've spent too much time on this forum being apprehensive to share my criticisms and true thoughts, mostly because of the impeccably bizarre trust point system, which has thankfully been challenged by members that feel the need for change.

Noted, and you're free to send me a PM too. If I'm not on Vizzed, I'm likely on Twitter or YouTube, but I do pop on daily or almost daily.

Everything with me is fine now, only because I ceased contact with nearly every person involved with that, and I'm too concerned with my life to really care about it anymore. I have heard recently that people involved are still speaking badly about me and spreading gossip, but it's not my concern. I don't spend my life spreading crap about others. I'm more concerned on taking care of my health and having a good time while doing well at school.
