The IB, or also known as "Your Friendly Neighborhood Cabbage-Man" is back on Vizzed for the first time since August 2016.


If you want the long story....

Yes, Hell has indeed froze over, The IB, or also known as "Your Friendly Neighborhood Cabbage-Man" is once again back on Vizzed for the first time since my Walk-out from Vizzed back in August 2016, and the reason why behind the Walk-out, I will explain fully in detail.

Now, you ask yourself.... Why did I walk-out on Vizzed in the first place back on August 2016, the reason actually dated all the way back to August 2015 (a year before the "Permanent" Walk-Out), I have sensed that the site was going into the wrong direction, and during this time, I was a Local Moderator, and that has led to September 2015 where the Admins made one fatal mistake (and I won't point out what that "Fatal Mistake" was to avoid any kind flaming or bad reputation), that's what caused the whole 2015-2018 Vizzed Uprisings (which I have started when I stepped down from Local Mod and did my first Walk-out from Vizzed in September 2015). But then on December 2015, I return to Vizzed to try again, but it all came crashing down by the time April 2016 rolled around and I did another Walk-out on April 2016, but then came back one last time on July 2016 only because of the Pokemon National Championship Convention that I attended that July and wanted post a few things from the convention and few other things, but that was it and I "permently walked-out" from Vizzed a month later, and basically lose any kind of connections I had with Vizzed and parted ways (well, that turned out to just be 19 months, until April 2018).

Over the next 19 months after the Vizzed Walk-out, I have decated more of my time on DeviantArt with uploading a whole bunch of artwork and everything, and I did keep in touch with a couple of Vizzed users here and there (via Skype) dispite that I had absolutly no connections with Vizzed at all. Also, I know I did mention a "Website Project" that I was attempting to accomplish to counteract all of Vizzed's flaws at the time, but that project was a complete bust thanks to the whole Error 500 mumbo jumbo, and I eventally abandoned the project altogether. For the next few months after abandoning my project, I focused a little bit more onto DeviantArt, and that eventually lead me to return to Steam (for the first time since 2011, all thanks to a lot of my DeviantArt friends), and Discord at the end of November 2017. Here is when I started to friend some more of my former Vizzed friends.

My thoughts about returning to Vizzed once again didn't actually come until Mid-March 2018 after having talks with some of my former Vizzed friends (On both Skype and Steam) about how Vizzed has been going and I heard that David is finally starting back from Square One, and that got me thinking "Hmmm, maybe since both my DeviantArt and Steam life isn't getting me anywhere, and I just got the Nintendo Switch and all I have is 2 Vizzed friends on the Switch (My Friend code for the Nintendo Switch is 3540-0618-1228 if you want to add me), I figured..... I think it's time to make a comeback on Vizzed once again." But then I though "If I do come back, I'm going to come back unannounced, and what day would be perfect?" Then it hit me "How about April 1st, 2018.... April Fool's Day, that's perfect. People would think this is just an April Fool's joke when people realize that this is not a joke, that The IB is in fact, back on Vizzed once again", although on March 28th, 2018 when David accepted my Friend Request on Steam, quite a few people on Vizzed started to think "David and The IB are friends on Steam... Does that mean????" and some of you were thinking about a possible IB return.

Also, with some other reasons I want to clear out that contribute to my Walk-Out in July 2016 both reflects with the Minecraft Server and some users I had on my so-called "Hit-List". Now to sum all that up, the whole Minecraft Server situration, I'm not too much into Minecraft anymore than I used to in the past (my interest in Minecraft has been dropping like a rock as of late), although I play single player Minecraft here and there, but that's much rarer than 4 years ago, and if I rarely play Single Player, I won't be interested in Multiplayer, so don't really expect to see the return of The IB on the Minecraft Server. As for the whole "Hit-List" thing, yes, I did had some kind of "Hit-List" against some users on here (I won't say who these people are to avoid any kind flaming or bad reputation), but being away for 19 months, this has ease the tention between me and these people on this "Hit-List" and I'm going to have a personal one-on-one chat with all of these people to finally bury the hatchet and let bygones be bygones.

For anyone that is new on Vizzed (or at least anyone that has joined Vizzed after August 2016) and have absolutely no idea on who the heck I am, I am The IB (or IgorBird122 for short), I've been a member of Vizzed between 2013-2016 which half of that time was spent as a Local Moderator. For me personally, I am a pretty well, interesting kinda guy, or bird, or cabbage-man, or whatever I am, and you'll see me at points being well, The IB, and if you have no idea what I'm talking about, if you see anything that make you say "well, that was completely random", that's The IB for you, just prepare yourselves, The IB is one of those users.

Ok, with that out of the way, I know a lot of you (New users that joined after August 2016 won't notice, but users that knows me for areally long time, especially prior to September 2015) will ask the question "since you're back on Vizzed for good, does this mean you'll be return to staffing Vizzed once again?" To answer that question, only time will tell, who knows, David may just promote me to a Staff member next decade, next year, next month, or heck, maybe even next day. Like I said... Only Time Will Tell.

Holy Cabbage, this is real!

It's nice to have you back, man. While it's surely something we wouldn't be expecting just two months ago, things have been hectic for you over these 19 months so retracing back to your origins after time has eased the tension is perfectly understandable.

I kind of expected that you had abandoned your project. I admit I was hyped for it back in October 2016, but after the Error 500 popped up and all the other reasons you haven't mentioned but some of us know that made you lose motivation on getting it fixed had almost erased it. I still held the hopes of seeing it up and going, even if it was just to complete what you had started, but I'm not surprised you abandoned it, and I hope Vizzed doesn't give you any reason to revive it because then you will be unstoppable.

Having you back could also rekindle the interest of other users to become active again. I've been struggling to keep my activity here due to not feeling like posting and life getting busier, but I now have a reason to keep watching over the site's news. I don't expect a return to our peak activity, but it could be a noticeable boost in dark times like this and that would be very welcome.

A return to staff right now seems unlikely, but time will tell. It would be a surprise to see you holding a staff role, you were never interested in them and focused more on moderator duties. I'd be very glad to have you back in the team, specially considering we're very few aboard now.

EX Palen : Heck, even a month ago, The IB returning to Vizzed is nothing more than a pipe dream, but here I am.

Yeah, it's hard to tell what the future is in store for, but all I can say, expect a lot more of The IB, and for Staff roles, yeah, it'll more likely be a Mod role. but when that will happen, it can happen at any moment.

Mostly when I left is when most of the community started to leave and knowing that others know that when I come back, they all will come back as well.

I'm not really here anymore but I'm glad to see you are.

I remember the incident of which you speak and if memory serves it was a travesty. Things definitely should have be done differently. Unfortunately there is no way to go back and fix that.

I am honestly curious if I am/was on your hit-list. I wouldn't be surprised. The last year or 2 has revealed a lot of the bad feelings other users have had for me. I'm more than willing to talk things out with you if you have anything you need to say.

I hope you enjoy your time here again.

Seeing how the new direction I'm taking Vizzed is part of the reason your back definitely helps assure me that it was the correct decision to make.

Great to have you back and I hope you can fix the issues between you and those members you talk about. It's best to try and resolve things right away rather than ignore them and let them build up to a breaking point.

Hey buddy welcome back! I do remember you saying you were not coming back. I really remember those words. So I thought let time run its course to see what happens in the future. Lets try in anyway we can to help vizzed again even if its small. ^-^
