At the time of writing this post I only have about 2 hours to go until the new year is here so this seemed like a good time to do a little bit of reflection. December was a pretty busy month for me. I turned 18 and went out for my first legal drink. Had my final exams for the semester and spent a lot of time so far working on various assignments. Proceeded to manically go out Christmas shopping the day before Christmas as I realized I only had a few hours to do so before the shops closed (and somehow pulled it off). I also went clubbing with some friends for the very first time which... The less said about it, the better.

Now I am finally done with everything and am enjoying the time off until the new semester starts up. I'm currently looking towards the future. Next year I'll finally graduate, start university and vote in an election for the first time among other things, it's looking to be an eventful year for me.

What are your plans for the new year? Any big things coming up? Any goals (big or small) that you are working towards? I'm interested to hear what you all have to say.

At this point, I don't even know if it's worth it to make plans since nothing's really changed. I guess I'm just taking it as it comes and I'll explore options as they become available.

Other than the usual ones like get better at school and do my damn homework, I have a few plans actually.

I've kinda been working on this AU for a while and just now actually making something for it, and I don't expect it to be popular at all lol but maybe it will who knows. I care a lot about it and in retrospect it's kinda silly, but I love it regardless. Will it be posted here? Maybe, though probably not honestly unless people really want me to for some reason :v.

I also want to maybe make some reviews or maybe even some guides, or at the very least finish more than one video game an year lol.

And mayyybe get known on the Internet. >>

Me, personally, I'm planning on trying to spend more time with my family. Like, watching more movies with them, playing more games with my big sis, maybe even making it so my niece likes me more.

I also have this bad habit on DeviantArt in which I procrastinate with my writing things, and I want to stop doing THAT, and make it so that I actually post things there more than once every two months.

ALSO, I kinda want to maybe try to post more on HERE, even once a day, because not only is it kinda sad that I've been a member here for 7 years and am just now getting somewhat close to 1000 posts, but with the way things have been, or NOT been is more like it,I think every little bit helps.

I don't really have plans. I'm going to start working out again. I had to stop because of the surgery I had in November and am only just now allowed to start lifting things over 10 pounds again.

I also plan to try and post at least once per day on Vizzed (on average). Whether or not that happens is totally up to me but I'm going to try.

Other than that it's business as usual I think. My life is more or less on track right now.

Finish this Network + Certification. Become Cisco CCNA certified; Microsoft MCSA certified; start re-learning and self studying math up to algebra II / trig / pre-calc. Im moving to NY to live with the in-laws. Hopefully get a helpdesk or support (jr IT role) job. Plan is to get situated first. I need 12 consecutive months as a NY resident for any decent financial aid for starting school again -going for undergrad.

My only plan is to get my medication lowered. My doctor probably won't suggest it to me, because analysis say that I may not be able to withstand it, but I still want to try. Currently, every six weeks my medication has taken me out a total of 7 days, which eventually makes up for 2 months every year, and that's just too much. My life won't progress like this, so it's time to make any needed sacrifice to achieve this goal.

Besides that, I have nothing else in mind. I have things going on that I will complete throughout the course of the year, but they're not really plans since they will happen for sure. Maybe my only other plan would be to get better in languages, I'd like to get C2 in Spanish to better help me searching and securing a job. C2 in English is a bit out of reach right now for me, so I'll stay at C1 while I expand my level in other languages like German.

Well I plan on taking baking classes in Nigeria this September and then to back to playing the recorder like as I used to in the past. I also have my cousins wedding this year in august, but whatever new stuff that do come they can come. ^^

Actually, scratch my previous post. There are at least a couple resolutions I've made. I don't exactly expect to make good on them because, let's be honest with ourselves here.... New Years resolutions are always broken. But those resolutions are A) to be more rational and b) to be more self sufficient. These are things I need to work on and there's no time like the present to at least make an attempt.

My New Years wasn't all that bad. Originally I was supposed to go to see a movie with a friend and then go see the ball drop in times square but he ended up being too tired to go out.

I went to see All the Money in the World, about 10 blocks away from the ball drop and it ended at about 11PM but I was too lazy to go to the drop and ended up heading home, but overall it was a fun day.
