Seriously though, guys... There's no way I'd go back. I mean, I'm really comfortable with how Vizzed is currently set up, but this is sooooooooooo much faster and has so much more to offer. You'll be searching for a looooooooooooong time before you find a negative you can't overlook easily.

It'll take a little while to get used to, but you'll feel the same way I do. I've been using the current layout for over 3 years, and it only took me a week or so to feel very comfortable with the new layout.

The edit feature is really incredible, it'll be so quick and easy for David to update pages now! I'm not even kidding, I haven't ever seen the site work so fast and smooth. Wow! This new layout goes at mach speed! It'll take some getting used to, but just yesterday I was thinking about how convenient it would be to have a search bar. I can see myself using the Pin feature a lot also. Anyway, this is AMAZING! Great job, David!

This is a huge addition really.

What if there was only one announcement box that listed a few of the most recent announcement titles, and when you click or scroll over the title one of two things could happen. Either a small popup appears with the content of the announcement, or when you click on it, the content appears in the HUD on the right. That way it takes up less space going down, which could also cause trending pages to appear without having to scroll.

Plus the way it is now, only the last announcement can be pinned.

Just letting everyone know that until this launches later tonight (in probably 12 hours) I'll be working on the page so you'll see things look odd at times.

zanderlex : I'll consider it and try to come up with a better solution. Are you complaining about the scrolling because you're on a tablet?

I'm working on placing default pins in the hud but they can be removed if users don't want them or want different pins.

New Posts link will be in one of the pins, available from the 'Your Posts' page, available on the index of the forum and in the menu on all forum pages. The reason it's no longer at the top is because I wanted to remove clutter. Having too many links at the top I feel like takes away from the other links up there and some of the links end up going unnoticed. Plus, having the New Posts link available on forum related pages will make up for this. If enough users want it to stay at the top though then I'll see what I can do.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
