My favourite Pokémon game has to be Pokémon Emerald. Game Freak really pulled it out of the bag with Hoenn, and Emerald has got it all: the Pokémon from both Ruby and Sapphire, great contests, and the Battle Frontier. Battle Frontier provides some good entertainment in the after game and I particularly enjoyed the knockout tournaments. It felt well-polished, complete and was really satisfying to play from start to finish.
My favourite Pokémon game has to be Pokémon Emerald. Pokemon Snap on the Nintendo 64,what an original fun game,i did like some of the RPG games,like the very first ones,Pokemon Blue and Red,but Pokemon Snap is great,just taking pictures of the Pokemon in different enviroments,the volcano stage was the best,there is a part where you can get a good snap of a whole bunch of Charmander

Heart Gold and Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky are my favorite pokemon games.

Heart Gold's graphics were amazing and with a ton of fun features like the Pokéwalker, pokemon following you, and the Pokéathlon it was a ton of fun to play. The only thing I didn't like was the sudden difficulty jump after beating team Rocket. Like the trainers around the Lake of Rage use level 18's and then Clair has a level 41 Kingdra or something like that.

I love the mystery dungeon games and from all the ones I've played, Explorers of Sky is by far the best. A lot of variety in the pokemon you can be, amazing side stories about some of our favorite characters, a great storyline, a ton of post-game action, etc. I can't wait to play the new one once it comes out

My favorite is Pokemon Platinum, it's a game all about my favorite Pokemon Giratina, I love starting with Turtwig and evolving it into Grotle and Torterra, now if I have another gen 4 game, I'd get Chimchar and Piplup and transfer them over and evolve Chimchar into Monferno then Infernape, and evolve Piplup into Prinplup and Empoleon also I'd catch a Starly and Evolve it into Staravia and Staraptor and Shinx to evolve into Luxio and Luxray. The Shinx evolutionary line are my favorite non legendary Pokemon and my second favorite Pokemon overall. That would be my elite four team, if I didn't have the other games I would hatch and evolve Riolu into Lucario and level that up a lot. Here would be my E4 teams with and without other gen 4 games. My most favorite is MD Explorers of Sky
for the mainstream games it is Black 2 with Soul Silver being close second

There was also plenty to do post game after you've been registered in the Pokemon hall of fame for the first time as well without including two Pokemon regions in one Pokemon game. I hope Pokemon Sun and Moon will live up to its hype and bring me something magnificent to play.
