I normally play my music from my ipod ( 5th gen) or my Kindle HD 7. I prefer playing it on ipod cause I get to use my beats which requires bluetooth in order to use it. The Kindle HD 7 doesn't support it, sadly.

I'm big into music, but my taste is...COMPLETELY...different to pretty much everyone I know. Even online, I can find people who like some of the songs I like, but they'll dislike others. I'm sure everyone's taste is unique but mine is...beyond unique.

So because I like such various and unusual songs, I listen to them on my laptop (usually on YouTube),  because  there's no way I'd be able to get them all in one place with CD's or even on an iPod (which I don't even own). This way's just easier.

The vast majority of the time I listen to music on my phone.

   I used to use an MP3 to listen to all of my music, but now, I pretty much listen to all my music on my laptop. Part of it is because I'm too lazy to put the songs on the MP3, but mostly just because it's just easier to have pretty much everything on one device.

I use multiple different devices to listen to music. I love listening to music in my car because I have 2- 12 in. subs in my trunk. The bass is amazing! I listen to the radio, some CD's, and by linking my iPad to my stereo. I also like to use my laptop to listen to Pandora and YouTube. This way allows me to venture into other music and genres that I otherwise would have never known about. As I mentioned before I have an iPad (2) where I listen to songs I have bought through iTunes. The more recent device I have procured is a Bluetooth portable speaker made by Auvio. That was probably the best investment I've ever made to listen to music. It's surprising how loud and good such a little rectangle box can sound.

It really all depends on where I am.  If I'm on the go, I'll just play music off of my iPhone or iPad, either using a pair of headphones or one of my Bluetooth speakers.  

If I'm at home though, I have a hi-fi system setup in my room, with an Audio Technica turntable, Sony 5-CD changer, Pioneer tape deck, Pioneer 10-band EQ, Onkyo receiver, and Pioneer speakers.  I've built that setup up over the years, and love listening to music on it.

I have an MP3 player, and i listen to my music on that. The screen is cracked so it kind of sucks, but it still works. It's called a Sansa Zip Clip. Works pretty well.
