Have you ever typed up a big long thing on Vizzed and gotten ready to submit it, only to have your hand slip and accidentally delete all of it? I know I have, and it is the most annoying thing ever. It only happens to me when I am writing a review or a walkthrough or something else that is over 200 words. I wouldn't mind it if it was a short 30 word post, but I hate having to retype hundreds or thousands of words. Does this ever happen to you?

Joking aside, Ctrl+Z is undo, very useful, and it only happens when I'm using my phone or PS3 where pressing alt+backspace or shift+backspace deletes it all. Very annoying when it happens.

I post my from ipad, and the undo button is just sitting right there on the keyboard next to everything, so naturally I press it. My posts on my ipad normally aren't more then 200 words long so it is easy to just retype it.

Oh man. I did that way too many times in my history of typing long reviews. Especially during the time when Vizzed's servers were pretty crap in the GoDaddy Era. (I think) and I had a 1000+ word review, and I get a blank page with a timeout message. The review was gone. Forever. I'm so glad that doesn't happen anymore.

Oh dear gosh yes. That's happened a fair amount of times. Thankfully though, I'm paranoid about stuff like this, and all my long posts are usually saved on Word first so it's not TOO bad, though I have to reformat it everytime.

Yeah, one in every 10 posts. Most of the time I 'copy' the text first just in case it can't be posted for some reason. But sometimes I'm just that clumsy and hit Ctrl+Z first, which undos (real word?) the whole thing...

I delete a lot of stuff when I try to copy posts so I can paste them if something like this happens. However, the paste button is right next to the copy buttun, so every now and then I will highlight an entire text area and accidentally press the paste button and put something different into the box and all of my work is gone.

You know what happens ALL of the time?

Backspace deletion. I hit backspace to erase something, and instead it returns me to the last page I viewed. The thread page. =P

I've added on this particular add-on to help with that in Chrome, and it's turned out to be quite useful.

Unfortunately this has happened to me a few times before, mostly on vizzed, I could be writing a review and I might accidentally erase/delete text that I just wrote, or I would accidentally hit the backspace button and then go to the previous page which was really frustrating. Now however I am a lot more cautious and I copy all of my text and paste it onto word just in case anything uncalled for should happen. It doesn't happen as much now as it did when the vizzed server would go down more often....but after getting in the habit of saving and pasting my work, I have eliminated this problem almost entirely.
