I've added a new Applications / Services section to the site and the first app that I've created is a YouTube Downloader which is loaded with features.

This page lets you download videos from YouTube but it also lets you do a TON more than just that. There are tons of other similar services online but a majority of them are scammy, have viruses, and don't have nearly as many features as this.

It does cost Viz and the amount of Viz depends on file size of video (trimming a video can significantly reduce cost), conversion type, if you want the files to be merged into a singe file or zipped (for playlists and multiple files), etc. I may drop the price of how much Viz it costs if anyone thinks it's too high.

Vizzed Patreons gets a huge discount. Prioritized and Idolized Patrons receive 75% off, Colorized Patrons receive 90% off, and Stylized Patrons receive 100% off YouTube Downloader Viz costs. In fact, one of the purposes of this feature was to give users more reasons to support the site.

It's super easy to use. You simply specify a video (or a playlist or multiple videos)


Then select if you want Video or MP3 and then choose quality


Or select from a huge list of specific formats


And then it'll tell you the Viz cost to download and you simply Download


Here's a list of features:

• Video Trimming: This allows you to specify only a section of the video to download or convert which is great for when you don't need the entire video. And the Viz cost only depends on the length of the trimmed segment. Normally this 2 hour long video would cost 727 Viz at Best Quality if I downloaded the entire thing, but in my example here, I've selected a 3 minute section which makes the total cost 29 Viz.
• Batch Download and Playlist Download: You can select up to 100 videos or select a single playlist and it'll give you the option to either have a Zip file created with all of the videos or have all of the videos merged into a single file.
• Supports Many Video Formats: You can choose many different file types and video resolutions.
• Supports Many Audio Bitrates: You can choose many different file types and bitrates.
• No Viruses: Yes, this should be noted as a feature! Because so many similar services are either loaded with ads, malware or viruses.
• Fast: It's actually faster than most similar services.

If anyone has any questions or feedback, be sure to let me know! This has been a feature I've been working on for a while so I hope some of you find use out of it. I know that I personally will be using it a ton. If anyone has ideas for similar features, be sure to post your ideas.

This is actually something I can see myself using fairly often. I download videos on audio from YouTube pretty frequently when making my own videos. It will be nice to have something reliable that I can use.

This was the last thing I expected to see on Vizzed, considering what it's about, but it's more than welcome.

I can see myself using this Downloader & Converter for Custom Soundtracks or simply to download a Youtube series during the War on Adblockers. It had been a triple headache watching what I want to see without extremely long, loud & obnoxious ads making the entire site unusable. Many alternatives simply don't work anymore.

But I'm going on a tangent. Davideo, your new section is quite a lifesaver. Thanks a huge ton. If I can't trade in Viz for specific Steam games I really want, I suppose this could be a good alternative.

This has been so nice to have on Vizzed I know you said you might drop the price if anyone thinks it's too high but I almost wonder if it's too cheap but when I consider it will likely bring new people to the site I guess you don't want it to be so annoying to earn Viz to download videos or mp3s in the first place so maybe it's good where it's at.

Proceeds to download the longest video on Youtube because I needs to exploit my riches

I'm planning on getting a new MP3 player and my list would need a huge revamp. I used to convert Youtube to mp3 to get my songs and this app would be basically my second coming, so I went ahead and gave it a try. The result is massive, plays even louder than the Youtube video.

Either during August or after late October I may dig deep in this app, but I'd do nothing more than that. I use Youtube mostly for my music and very little else, and outside music I don't really need its content available offline. And the other use I could potentially have for it depends if I end up inheriting a tablet computer and actually using it, so time will tell.

I think the price is quite fair, I was charged 10 Viz for a top-quality mp3 file of a video less than 3 minutes long which equals to making a 20-word post. So basically this post alone will finance a few dozens more of those xD

TouchMaster97 : Should be a good way to put your Viz to use until I can come up with more things like this.

tgags123 : Yeah I'm finding it useful for myself personally. I use services like this often and to finally have one that has all of the features I want and not risk getting a virus is great. So I'll be using this probably more than most people lol.

SonicOlmstead : If someone wants to download a really large video or an entire playlist, then the Viz cost will be pretty high. Since it's not currently causing any noticeable server strain, I'll keep the Viz price as it is for the time being. Good feedback.

This page has been fixed. It was down for a little while. I also fixed it so that when you click to download an MP4, it actually downloads the video in MP4 format instead of MKV format.

I keep getting a message that says the page to be reloaded complete with the youtube link

I'm also getting the same error as classgame

I had some issues with this during the morning, but apparently as I was about to record more specific details of the error it suddenly started working perfectly again.

All my tests are still converting videos to MP3 and they aren't even 4 minutes long, not sure if that was also the case for sonic and classgame. Also not sure if David did something to fix it during these minutes because there's been no post here or it just happened it fixed itself.
