Don't think it's a slow day whenever Twister is talking

Due to personal reasons I won't be competing actively these last few days. I think I'm safe about Gray, but sincerely I've stopped bothering about it. I've realized I don't have the time I thought I had, and I need to rethink my plans for future months so I can compete in optimal conditions.

Still, it's been a nice month and I'm happy with what I've been able to do and achieve. We'll see if I walk away with a prize or a try it again, in any way I'll be back next time and ready to mean business once more.

Never like to see David getting points just for updating this thread every day. Maybe I'll see if I can prevent that from happening again today.

I love the titles where it really feels like David has given up describing tdv always funny when it's these summer tdvs that with all but one exception in the past 5 years have been less active than the Winter tdvs. Today I'm pushing for some more points in my pursuit of being the 3rd user to hit 4000 points scored in tdv which I'm fairly certain I won't hit this time but next tdv I should definitely hit it if I realized I'd be so close near the end of this one I would of put more effort in earlier in the month but oh well.

Same old same old I suppose. Not that I'm complaining.

It's been a different TdV for me, normally I'm much more of a well rounded competitor but this time I've done great in 2 jerseys and very mediocre in the other 2.

I've got over 70 of every kind of jersey now which is cool. My end goal is probably 100 of each kind. Will I have the mental strength to go through with that though...

tornadocam breaks 500 points.

With three days left including today, tornado is on track to get the third most points scored in a single TdV. Top 2 is just out of reach for him, even if he got every single 7 pointer from now on.

As for me, I'm about to win Blue this month. My first overall jersey win since 2022, neat.

I am so ready to be done with this tour, I wanted to do better I thought I had time but a butt ton of movies called my name on the DVR downstairs (and I still need to get alot done before I go back to work in September and before my Carmen Sandiego binge starts in October and I binge watch a bunch of commercials in November) yes I have fall and christmas shopping on my mind right now


I thought today was thread day I feel like the extra stuff isn't kicking in even though I made two threads (thinking about a third)

I'm surprised I did good yesterday as it was a slow day for me and I did not get to post like I would have wanted. The main reason was I had a doctors appointment

Furret takes lead in Overall Blue Jersey.

Anyone else on board for a spree day tomorrow?

You know looking at the graph, I had 0 points about halfway into this competition. To end up walking away with a jersey win despite the 14 day head start others had is kind of incredible.

I don't even need 7 pointers anymore, just holding off tornado even a little is enough to keep my lead.

Unfortunate that no new user has scored yet. That's just how it goes I suppose.

Dauntez : I'll see what I can do. Honestly it would be great though, makes my life in this competition easier lol

Furret: Been an impressive run this tdv for sure who would of thought you'd return to tdv with a blue win of all things lol, but congrats!

Last day of competition.

I'm 7 points ahead in Blue so just getting 1 point today would be enough to secure it for me. Happy to be back in the Hall of Fame!

Congrats tornado as he is about to end this month with the third highest score ever recorded in a TdV! His dominance in yellow and red were key factors in getting him this far. That yellow scoreboard might be one of the most dominant jersey wins of all time. Second place (me) doesn't even have a third of the points he does. Well earned victory.

tornadocam wins the Tour de Vizzed.

tornadocam destroyed the competition early on. He might've even hit a TdV record for most points in a competition with 572 points. I'd like to point out that Furret started competing halfway through the month and managed to get 3rd place overall and won the Blue Jersey competition.

I will fact-check David here: tornadocam's 572 points is not a TdV record. It is the third-most posts in a TdV, behind Furret's 617 points in Summer 2019 and SonicOlmstead's 614 points in Summer 2021. Still a very impressive performance!
