I'm just barely hanging on at this point. I'll be happy if I can hold onto rainbow for another day, but I don't see myself being able to hang onto it any longer than that. 

The only real shot I have at winning this is to continue placing in the top 3 for green and red jersey and then doing my best for blue jersey as well. With how dead things are though, I can't imagine finding enough active threads to make 10-12 posts each day, not accounting for any out of the blue posters.

ThreeLittleBirds takes the lead in White Jersey competition.

Well, just five points yesterday which almost block my chances of getting closer to the top two. I can still step it up, an average of 5 points more than the leader could get me there, but seems like I'll need a lot of effort to attain such average for what remains of the competition.

I managed to get more points to solidify my lead in Yellow, so maybe that should be my main focus now that 3rd overall feels safe. I can get points regularly because of my wordy nature, but maybe I could aim for a few more jerseys so as to also fulfill some HoF goals of mine.

It's very nice to see two new users placing after a TdV without a single White Banner holder. Also nice to see that numbers went a bit higher yesterday, Yellow was still pretty dead but top 3 for the rest of jerseys needed more effort than winning a jersey just days ago. Surely the best way to enter the weekend, when we expect a few more users kicking in and liven up the site a bit.

If things go this way, we'll have to look for the record for most points in a single jersey, because no 8120 looks on a good pace to break it. He can probably aim at 160 points in Green, if that's not a record then it won't be very far away from it.

With only a 2 point lead, I think no 8120 will officially take 1st place tomorrow. I'll see what I can do today, but up until now, I've just been prolonging the inevitable. Its been fun, and while I don't think I can hold the lead any longer, I will do my best to at least guard blue jersey as best as I can.

Three more points for Yellow put me over the 50 mark, but still not enough. Considering I won't do much today, it's time I gear up even if it's for just a handful of days to secure that jersey. I know I don't have any active competitor right now, but just in case someone might reappear from the darkness I'll need a slightly bigger gap.

Not sure if I'll have the pace to get up to 2nd overall, but next week looks like my staff role will have me busy. I might still have chances of reducing the gap after all, but real life can get in the way like today and deprive me of most of my time. At least I'll aim for 200 points, already an ambitious goal on its own, and see where that takes me.

Now that I'm set to step it up a bit, I'll keep a close eye on the HoF. I could get into the top 10 for most Red jerseys, and that's something I'd love to reach in a competition as special as this one. I could even get into the top 20 for most jerseys, though a few competitors are also in the ballot and thus the numbers may still vary greatly. And top 20 for total points is already a reality, 40 more points will get me there so it's perfectly doable.

Wow, dead day again yesterday despite being a weekend. Kind of strange nobody had earned all four jerseys before seeing how overall activity is being.

Managed to get 6 more points yesterday, 3 of them for Yellow, but I'm drifting away from the lead. What's more important, Yuna made it very close to me and she may now be a menace to my podium finish if I keep being inactive. Kind of bad timing because I'm not feeling good today, but next week I'll be back in top shape to make sure I stay there.

Seeing how he keeps scoring regularly, I wouldn't discard ThreeLittleBirds to make it to the top 10, which would be awesome. White Banner holders rarely made it that far in later years, so it would be very refreshing to see it again after all this time. Still some 10 days to go, so it's not impossible.

Let's try to raise the numbers a bit for the last week, it would be a shame for this TdV to end as dead as it started.

Slow day.

Four more Yellow points for me, slowly but steadily securing the overall jersey. I should probably fully tie it by Friday or even sooner, which will be my goal starting today. Also nice to see I keep getting posts in Blue, I might be runner-up for that jersey at this pace which will be greatly unexpected. I could probably attempt one last, almost suicidal run for top 3 in Red, which is my other strong jersey and round up a massive month for me, but seems highly unlikely I can actually achieve it.

Yuna has stepped up again today and is closing the gap quite quickly, so I'll have to also step up a bit and protect the gap. I think I should be more worried about not getting overtaken by her rather than trying to improve my ranking, so that will be my focus for the remainder of the competition. I hope real life treats me well because the weekend has been quite tough.

Kind of a letdown to see the weekend this dead. I could more or less expect it on weekdays for people being busy, but this was totally out of place. Looks like we're bound to another week of low numbers, as sad as it may sound, so I'll do my best to counter it as I pursue my goals.

I'm surprised I was able to get 5 points from blue yesterday with only 8 posts considering the fact that I was on a trip for about 6 hours of the day. I realize things have been pretty slow lately, but I really thought there would be a little more competition yesterday.

I'll do what I can to continue building a lead in blue and maintaining a decent ranking in red and green jerseys. On a side note, I'm also somewhat astonished that I still have second place in yellow jersey despite the mistake I made nearly 2 weeks ago.

I always wait to reply until the results are up so they're fully official, but today it's taking too long. I hope it's not because there's some discussion going around

Yuna might perfectly get 3rd overall. I'm staying until 3:30 AM and even later than that, but still I can't be around when the site gets more active which is up to 7 AM. Life is now too tough to sacrifice anything, so I have to do everything with several hours to go and hope it's enough to last. Yesterday Yellow was enough but I got overtaken in Red in those last hours, so nothing I can do to fight back.

Getting 4th overall won't be a bad result either, considering my best result so far is 8th. I have Yellow virtually secured, though mathematically it's still open and will probably be until tomorrow or so. I should also be getting runner-up in Blue, which would be kind of nice. Top 3 in Red is mathematically possible but virtually impossible, even more with how busy the week has started, but being at least 4th in all jerseys is a big accomplishment.

Looks like me, Yuna and some other users popping out all of a sudden might deprive no 8120 from rainbow. Our scores in Red and Green limit his maximum number of points available, so the fight for rainbow can still rage on if SacredShadow keeps aiming for Blue. Overall jerseys will be decided soon, but the battle for rainbow can last until the very end!

It seems that both of us have another user nipping at our heels now. For almost 2 weeks, the maximum number of points I've been able to gain has been drastically limited. Had I not made a mistake midway through, I have no doubt that I would be a safe distance away from no 8120 in overall points. Additionally, I probably would've been safe taking a day off here and there which is something I can't afford to do now given how incredibly close things are between 1st and 2nd place. 

So far, he's been right behind me by anywhere from 2-10 points, but I am really hoping that I can keep him at bay for the remainder of the competition. While my ranking in blue should be secured in another day or two, I'm going to continue to do my best to maintain my 2nd/3rd place position in the other jerseys (with the exception of yellow). While I'm still very disappointed in myself for what happened before, it has definitely made the competition a bit more interesting and its also forced me to consider other options.

Been a while since we had a funny thread title, one of the things we've missed the most this month. They greatly light up our day, no matter how complicated it starts, so I hope to see at least one more before the month ends.

SacredShadow : Yeah, you could be some 40 points ahead of him if you were still going in Yellow. Despite that, the competition is there and you never know when can you place high or low or when can someone kick in with a great score, so we will never know if, at this point and participating in all jerseys, you could be that much ahead.

I agree that, if you were participating in Yellow, things wouldn't probably be this interesting. Who knows where would I be now in Yellow if you were still there, but maybe we could be having a battle like the one you have for rainbow right now, and it's more interesting to see a battle for the overall win rather than a jersey. Basically, we traded one battle for another, with the difference being that you could surrender a jersey to protect the gap in rainbow whereas you can surrender nothing right now to keep rainbow safe. 

EX Palen : I figured since I had forgotten about it and took so long to put the results up, it'd be a fun opportunity to pull a prank and scare a few people lol.

Welp, slow day for Yellow and Blue but decent results for Red and Green, so half dead day.

I managed quite a strong day yesterday. With 5 more points today I'll finally secure Yellow no matter what, I only need two more points to be runner-up for Blue and the race for top 3 in Red rages on, still with a big gap but slowly reducing it. As for overall, I widened the gap on Yuna because of her having a weak day, so I guess that as long as I stay strong I can keep her at bay to protect 3rd overall. Not gonna be easy, but gotta fight for it.

Aiming higher in the overall ranking will be tough. I need an average of 6 more points than what no 8120 scores or some 8 points more than what SacredShadow scores, which is nearly impossible. I better focus on the HoF goals, which are at least doable. Top 10 for most Yellow jerseys can be possible by the final days of the month, same position for Red should be done sooner and top 20 for most jerseys will need a bit of effort.
