What's your favorite pokemon type? I happen to enjoy dark type because they don't have too many weaknesses, and for the weaknesses they do have, most people don't have them.  Another thing I enjoy about them is that most dark type attacks are really powerful.  Also my favorite pokemon is a dark type (^.^)

I have two. Dragon & Dark. Dragons because they're mostly large and powerful with few weaknesses (until Gen 6 went and screwed that up) and take a long time to train. They're often some of the best designed Pokemon as well, giving lots of mythology light in a 21 year old franchise. Dark-type because Umbreon. When I first found out you could evolve Eevee into several different Pokemon, it was a difficult choice for me because Flareon Vaporeon and Jolteon all seemed pretty good to me and I wanted all of them, but then I moved to Generation 2 when Espeon was introduced and along with it came Umbreon. With it's beautiful design and tricky evolution requirement, it quickly became one of my favorite Pokemon.

My favorite type of Pokémon are fire and dragon types.
I really enjoy using moves like Blast Burn, Sacred Fire,
Roar of Time, and Spacial Rend.
Back in the days of Blue and Red I always went for Charmander
as my starter it was harder to beat Brock and Misty but when Erika
came around she was real easy.

Now with dragons they got really awesome around Sinno and Unova
I really had fun reeking havoc with Dialga, Palkia, Giritina, Arceus with draco plate,
and Black Kyrem. All devastatingly powerful and fun to use.

I like the steel type because it boasts so many important resistances, ten in total I believe. Steel also has a resistance to the pesky fairy typing too which is always nice to have since they are so present in the metagame.

Dragon on the other hand has always been a long time favorite of mine. They're just powerful, not to mention that many legends include a dragon typing. I like the design of most dragons as well (save Druddigon and Alolan Exeggutor...), they just emanate a strong and menacing presence. This is part of the reason why dragons, namely Hydreigon, Garchomp, and Salamence are among my top 10 favorite pokemon.

My favorite would probably be Psychic. Mostly because in all of my games that I've played, I always had Kadabra as my go-to when grinding or leveling up in early games. It's pretty fun to play with him around my team.
