Hello all of my dear vizzed friends!

As I am sure most of you know, it's been awhile since I have even been on the site, let alone posting anything. Things have progressed quite a bit since the last time I was here. I honestly don't even remember what my last update was about. Anyway, a lot has happened to me over the last 8 months. I am still trying to get used to everything. Sometimes I wake up and ask myself, "Is this really happening to me?" Now enough of the suspense...

I don't know if I have ever shared this with everyone here, I probably have mentioned it in the past to some of you. My memory isn't always reliable, haha. Well, I have been building my own businesses. That's right, I work 3 of them. Well, one of them I actually own. It's an actual company. That still feels weird to say that, even after I say it. Anyway, it's progressed I'd say over the last 6 months, that now I have to hire a management team to help me run it. If you're running which business I am referring to is my graphic design company. For the last few years I was the only one running it, well it's gotten to the point that I am unable to manage it alone. Just to clarify, I am not posting this as a way to "advertise", I just wanted to share what is going on in my life and I'm not sure if anyone cares to know but I do still have some friends here that I haven't talked to in a very long time.

Anyway, I am still in shock with the fact that, I have come this far. I know some of you know of the struggles I have dealt with in the past, referring to the oldies here at vizzed. I don't mean you're old, I just mean that in the sense that you are the ones I have known since I first joined this community.

I have had some things in my personal life too but I don't really want to go into that here, that's more of a private conversation kind of thing, for those of you that really know me well.

Anyway, I am going to try to come here more often, at least in the boards, even if it's like once a month. I hope you're all doing well. For those of you that may have some struggles of your own that you're facing, I'm here if you need to talk. Talk to you soon.

Congratulations! It's great that you are able to do what something you love instead of just getting a regular job. I've been wanting to start a business for a while now and I can't wait until I'm finally able to get started.
I'm not sure if you already do this, but I'd suggest promoting your brand on social media. It is a great (and free) way to advertise yourself and get more sales.

I know someone else who has a graphic design company, and she does an amazing job with it. I know her because I met her when her husband became my youth pastor. They have since moved to another church, but I still stay connected with them on Facebook.

Thank you both for your kind words. I am so happy, it's taken a lot to get to this point in my life, but it was definitely worth it. I wouldn't change the journey because in the end, the destination was worthwhile.
