My Video Game Music Radio twitch channel is now an affiliated channel. There are various benefits including having the ability for users to subscribe to the channel with a monthly fee and giving them benefits for doing so. There are a few perks to being a twitch affiliate, most of which I'm not currently taking advantage of yet, but you can read about them all here: https://affiliate.twitch.tv/

I'm hoping it'll be a way to generate a little bit of income from the twitch channel or at least enough to pay for the internet bandwidth fees of running a 24/7 music stream (I had to drop the quality of the stream due to not being able to afford it which you can read about here). My next goal is to become a twitch partner which I just recently applied for. The partnership program lets you generate income from ads which will be great to help fund not only the stream but the vizzed site as well.

Have you thought about having a live YouTube channel as well? That can get ads. Granted, you can't have the interactivity of the Twitch Channel, I don't believe, but that YouTube ad money is real nice I hear.

Staff : Since Twitch will be checking out the channel any day now, it'd be great if you guys could help keep an eye on it. If it goes down, try to clicking the 'Reload Stream' link on the Radio page. If that still doesn't work, send me an email (Content hidden from non-Staff members!). If you're not staff, you can help out also by either contacting a staff member who is online or sending one of us an email. Do not just respond in the radio saying that it's down because that does us no good. If order for us to see your message in the radio that means we'd have to be watching the radio and if we're watching the radio, then we're probably already aware that it's down (surprisingly, users have done this).

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
