You will need to find games in the Retro Game Room that don't have any videos and submit a video to that game.


You get 1 point for each video that you submit that is at least 5 minutes. You earn 3 points for 15+ minute, 5 points for 30+ minute videos and 8 points for 60+ minute videos. We will determine the winners based on how many points they get. In my opinion, this is a very easy competition to score in because you're all playing games in the RGR already so why not record your game while you play?


RULES and INFO:
-Only videos uploaded after 7/1/2017 count
-You can submit as many as you'd like
-If multiple people submit videos for the same game, only the person who took theirs first gets credit
-Be sure to let me know in this thread which videos you've uploaded
-Videos should be at least 5 minutes
-Your videos must be uploaded to the Vizzed YouTube Account
-You must record your videos with the RGR Plugin
-You must add your video to the game's page (which should happen automatically when you upload your video to the vizzed youtube account)
-You can record video using GB/GBC/GBA games without using mednafen by pressing F8 but the videos can't be longer than 1 minute; if you need to do a video longer than 1 minute on those systems, be sure to play the games using Mednafen (link at top left of play window)
-You can only use an external recording program (like Camtasia) for N64 and Sega CD games since they don't support video recording but the quality must be good and must still take a screenshot with the plugin of the moment as a way to verify the video was taken by you
-You must take a screenshot at some point (using the RGR Plugin) during your video recording as proof that you took the video

Use Freemake Video Convertor to reduce the size of your videos before uploading. DO NOT user Freemake on PlayStation or Sega Genesis videos since it distorts them for some reason.

Davideo7 : I'm having the problem with the Mednafen emulator, only when recording, does my keyboard not function. I stop recording, reset the game, and it works fine, but I'm not sure how to fix it and be able to take the videos. I'm using Firefox, and I can't seem to get anything working.

tyranit : Try a different internet browser? Or maybe try external recording software?

Davideo7 : I've tried Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Google Chrome, and the keyboard only registers input when not recording at all. I've also tried using OBS as an external recording software, and it does not pick up the screen of the RGR Plugin, even though the plugin is clearly showing the game. Not sure what to do, as I really want to compete.

I had to record with an external recorder since lag issues were causing desync and some audio distortion even when I fixed it.
Anything with * used a external recorder.
