Hey, all. As you can see, I'm a new member. I was recently directed to this site by one of my friends and decided to check it out. I do have a couple questions though.1. I've noticed that the chat room is pretty dead. Is there another thing set up such as a discord or something of that nature?2. How do I move out of newbie status?

Hello and welcome to Vizzed. It is a kind of a shame that the chatrooms are dead. I'm trying to think of a way to change that. For the time being though, you can find the Discord server here. And to answer your second question, to move up in rank from Newbie, you need to pass the Newbie Quiz, make at least 10 posts and your account needs to be at least seven days old. It's to try to filter out some of the trouble makers. If the criteria's been met, you'll rank-up to Member on the 8th day.

If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to ask me personally via a profile comment or private message. We've got a lot going here: Retro Game Room for in-browser emulation of retro games, Video Game Room with screenshots, video, reviews and guids for modern games, current gen included, the Video Game Music Room for listening to and rating tunes from classic games, making and rating playlists, etc., Vizzed videogame Music radio, which is a 24-hour live stream of videogame music with a trivia game and leaderboards, and all that in addition to the boards. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, too. Take a look around and get to know the community.

I just got back from a good hiatus so I'm reorientation myself. However, Vizzed is one of the best community forums I've been on. You can earn Viz by talking on forums and get quite a few helpful people that are willing to help you out on anything, life or games.

Unfortunately, I cannot answer your questions because I've been barely on during my latest days on Vizzed, but I can guarantee you that the chat room is dead the last time I've been in it. I think the most active years it went through was 2014 and 2015 (or even before). If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the staff.
