It's only a trial that you get for a short amount of time, not really sure how long.

It's not free until July, you have until Friday night to get it from Humble Bundle, after that you have until July to put the key into Steam.

You get the full game forever, and you also get two guest passes as Steam gifts, which are only a few days long.

Barathemos : They were probably intended to be received for actually buying the game since Killing Floor is multiplayer oriented and this would allow you to get your friends to try it out and hopefully get it as well so you can play with them. Now that the game is free though you can just tell them to get their own copy in stead.
