I just tried to create a poll for my thread titled Happy Joes Pizza and while the thread went through fine, the poll did not making the thread somewhat useless (It will still work without the poll but wanted to see the votes of people who may not respond to it) so I thought I'd bring this up so it can get fixed.


Davideo7 : Thought you'd like to know about this issue. Sorta defeats the purpose of having a pools and question forum if polls don't work properly. Also, do you have plans of getting the vizzed archive back up anytime soon? Now, it likes to throw 500 errors when I go there and using the wayback machine is not easy to do.

That's strange... I set up a poll less than a week ago I believe, and it worked fine. Did you have to refresh the page at some point? That seems to change polls into threads (refreshing before submitting) from what I saw the other day while posting mine.

It had three options.

I just tested it again and it seems to work for me, though I didn't submit the poll. Did yours revert to a normal thread during the process of making it (like when you tried to add the second option), or did it happen after pressing the submit poll button?

Also of note may be the forum you tried to submit the poll in. I wouldn't think it would matter, but mine was in a rented forum. Again, it shouldn't matter, but when you combine a bunch of lines of code all sorts of strange things can happen, so it isn't impossible exactly that the forum it's made in made a difference.
