I absolutely will not celebrate Dairy Queen. I called them 3 TIMES asking about the status of my application and they said they would call back each time.

They have not called back, it has been nearly a week.

While I feel for Yoshi, let's just blame poor management at that particular location. Dairy Queen is tremendous when it comes to making blizzards. To me, the Blizzard is the cornerstone, the shining jewel of their line-up. The rich mix of ingredients in ice cream so thick the cup is inverted without spilling. The creations those folks come up with are impressive.

I like to play Blizzard Roulette. I ask whoever is right there taking orders to 'make me a Blizzard.' And they'll say, "Which one?" And I say, "You tell me."

And then they get all excited and start throwing stuff in t here. It's a blast to let them be creative and experiment with what they know best.

I'm here to say that, yeah, it's just really crappy management in our case. I lived 18 years before having my first Blizzard, and I had absolutely no idea whatsoever what I was missing. I haven't tried any with a bunch of different stuff in them, mostly because they're so expensive... I'm not sure if it's chain wide or not, but I think that out local Dairy Queen is a franchise and not a corporate store, so it could just be that the prices are inversely proportionate to the item portions in this particular store.

Still, the Blizzards are amazing and I also can't say no to a good hot fudge sundae.
