I know there are a lot of people from a lot of different places. I'm American so when I think of other countries, I have a specific ethno-centric view of what those countries are popular or famous for.

I'm sure I'm wrong compared to what citizens think.

So, being more positive than negative, what is your country best known for? What do you take pride in?

I say the United States is known for Coca-Cola. I don't know a place that hasn't heard of it unless they're on an island in the Pacific somewhere or literally the middle of nowhere.

Spain is known for its climate and its gastronomy. I myself greatly enjoy it, and the vast numbers of tourists our country receives confirms it.

That's the only good thing I can think about speaking on my country in general, even if a couple regions don't have that good climate most regions have. Everything else is region-exclusive, which doesn't really make our country stand-out but more like that specific city or region to stand out.

For the U.S I'll go with Sports. The country is basically the "founder" of sports like Baseball, Basketball, and Football, while with other sports like Soccer, Cricket, etc, those are more worldwide sports instead of centralized to one place.

Nowadays my country Poland is known for its Nazi concentration camps, many famous people like Lech Wałęsa or John Paul II as well as (mostly) beautiful women, solidarity and having a huge percentage of people whose religion is catholicism. Mostly the vodka and beautiful women for the people abroad tho.

Mexico is known for tacos and dancing, sure other countries dance and we might have stolen some dancing lessons from spain  however we do it more than spain to make it our national tradition on a lot of holidays and weekends.
