So I made this thread to see if anyone has had a back problem before. I don't think I have made a thread like this. To explain things I am in bed with a spine problem on my back which I have never endured in my life before. Please don't pity me since I know I will get better. My mother told me to take some time off from my laptop so I am posting from my phone. So have you guys had any back problems? If so how had it effected your lifestyle?

I don't recall ever having any particular back problems, probably because I'm still a little young. Hopefully your back issues will resolve, and I'm sure they will in time.

Other than the twinges you get when you are lifting stuff at times, bending over a low counter,or shoveling snow,I cannot say I have had anything serious. It sounds like you either slept wrong or stayed in a chair too long to type. I think all you need is some aspirin and a little rest.

Lexatom : I couldn't even go one day without being on my laptop lol so I am back on. To update you my spine is slowing going back to normal all I had to do was rest my back with hot water bottle there as well.

Oldschool777 : Well the first one may be right while the second is wrong....lemme explain. I think it might be because of my bed I've had it for many years and had not changed it. So that will change soon. XD
Thank you for your concern I have been resting well

I have had a few back problems in the past. Nothing too big but because of it, sometimes getting up can really be a pain, so sometimes when I wake up, I have to lie down in a way that hurts for a few minutes on purpose just so that I can finally get up. Once that's taken care of, I'm usually pain free for the rest of the day, and when I'm not, I have meds for it.

zanderlex : Ah that's good to hear. Usually that's what I do when I can't get up, to take meds for it to get me energized for the day.

I work as a ramp agent on a airport so I do very much heavy lifting. Bags can weigh up to 32 kg witch I need to lift up. So my back can get very tired after a shift, but I fix it with my girlfriend. She cracks my back up. Pops the airbubbles in the spine witch makes me stiff since I have arthritis so it helps to crack up my spine. After that my spine and back is all good to go.

You'd better believe I had back problems, well, back injuries rather. I was out of work once for about 2 weeks after tearing a back muscle on the job. Had to literally roll off of bed to my knees before standing up each time I did get up. Very painful.

If you are still reading, I was lifting a motor out of an AC unit and replacing it, and my co-worker didn't lift as high as I did (in other words I did all the work).

Well what do you know, I ended up hurting my back a lot more today thanks to the snow. It snowed so much yesterday and our place is so big that I was shoveling for more than two hours. Just within half an hour my body was sore and at the end of the entire job my back was killing me and it hasn't gotten better yet after like 12 hours.

Aww... *Hugs you* Hope you feel better soon!

As for back problems, nope, I've never had any back problems before although I know someone that was severely injured while playing sports, and after that incident, they started having a difficult time with picking up their kids because the motion of picking something up (that's heavier than a certain weight) would cause their back to ache for days. =/

If it's from your computer, I suggest making sure your back is straight and using proper posture (LOL as I typed that, I was hunched over - it's a bad habit and I have to remind myself constantly to 'straighten my back').

I have before - previously from throwing my spine out of wack in an accident, which ended up giving me a migraine. I go to the chiropractor now and then for an adjustment, which seems to keep it in check (which reminds me, i need to go back lol). Recently, it's because I fail to stretch properly at the gym and/or I end up pulling a muscle (yes, I know the dangers of not stretching and I try to remember to do it)

I'm the opposite of a lot of people. I had back problems when I was younger, as opposed to being older. The reason for this was the fact that I was really, really overweight when I was young, so my spine had to carry a lot of weight on it that it really shouldn't have at that age. Not only that, but to hide my fat, I would also slouch a lot so people couldn't see it (yeah... it wouldn't make a difference at all ). All of that really ruined my back up until I was about 14, when I lost a lot of weight and got really fit.

Now, the only time my back hurts is if I have bad posture which is an awful habit for me thanks to how much I did it in my youth. I have to always remind myself to straighten my back.

I've been having back pain for awhile now. I'm worried that someday the pain might start to get excruciating. I'm trying to keep my back straight, but sometimes my bad sitting habit happens and I don't notice until it starts hurting.

plasticinsanity : That's the thing see you can never know when it can hurt. It can be doing gym or other things. Don't worry you don't really need to remind me to. Its been a few weeks since then. XD

goodboy : I see, I'm not really surprised by that.

gamerforlifeforever : The best thing to do is constantly remind yourself. Also if you have a hot water bottle put hot water in it and then put it on your back where the pain hurts trust me it will decrease fast. If you don't have one buy one.
