OK, cool, results are in. But can somebody explain how the +/- additional points worked? I mean, how do you LOSE 0.8 points on a song submission.

thing1 :  
The songs are rated 1-5. Everything over 3 increases your score, and everything under lowers it. 

The song's scores are based on the average of the ratings given only while the stream is taking place (so someone can't pick a song which already has a high rating for an advantage). The total of a user's song scores are what determines where you finish. 

I tried to keep that short. Hope it was clear enough lol. 

Mynamescox44 : Yup, this is the 3rd one I've won in the new format. Back when music competitions were done via videos, I only won 1 contest. (the hack one)

I'm so glad I was able to win this contest.

I'll gladly take the bronze metal! I thought for sure I was doomed since it seemed like most of my entries were also entered by someone else. Turns out only 4 were not unique, so awesome! Also tied for top song was an unexpected surprise! I can't believe nobody else entered that one. Congratulations to all the winners! This was another great competition!

Meh, I don't really have any interest in Christmas and the music usually sounds pretty lame unless its being parodied like in Gex 3. I wasn't too excited for this competition..

But the next one looks really cool, so maybe that'll be exciting. There's one game in particular that I like on the 3DO because it has a really nice soundtrack, so I'm waiting for that one to be added.
