The best thing that happened to me this month was getting back on my medication and starting to attend groups again for rehab. I relapsed about 2 months ago or so, and finally getting back out of that hole is probably the biggest blessing I'll experience all year.

I think the best things that have happened to me this month are the following:

1. Our school has won the award of the audience in a 'Rencontre Theatral Francophone' (not sure if that's how you spell it) at another french school here. We made it in the top 4, and we're gonna present our play at a special place =)

2. Had dessert with some friends last week. It is nice to take a break from studying and spend time with your closest friends

I finally got a girlfriend, something I thought would never happen to me. Her name's Lucy ^^

The best thing that happened to me this month was, by far, having an early birthday party on Friday. My family decided to do a get-together because other family members from out of town came over here to visit. We celebrated my birthday, my grandma's birthday (which was that day) and my brother's birthday (which was a week ago).

I had a blast because we had a delicious dinner from Olive Garden, opened plenty of presents, and ate some cake. I made sure to have 3 breadsticks because I'm obsessed with them XD I was very surprised to see two 50-dollar bills in a birthday card my grandma gave me and a Nerf water gun to make up for the ones that I had lost at my friend's house. The cake was good but for some reason I got tired of the frosting so I only had 2 bites. I got away with it though!

The best thing that happened this month is work related for me.

I made a decision well outside the scope of my responsibility at work. I angered the company we're a vendor for and my boss called me to yell at me and then came in person to yell at me a second time. For a hot second I was concerned about being fired or aggressively punished.

I had a three-person conference call between my boss and the boss of the company we work for. It was the culminative event for me getting chewed out another time.

Anyway, my boss is late for the call so I am just chatting with the woman who runs the whole program and it turns out we got along. I follow sports, namely women's sports, and we were able to find common ground. She asked me why I did what I did, I told her my decision making process and she respected the answer I provided. It seemed like things were going well. We got down to business, covered a few other items, and my boss never made it to the call.

It was a chance to flash my personality to the woman and things were suddenly a lot better. I went from being possibly fired, probably disciplined to getting a vote of confidence from the woman who's opinion matters more than whatever my boss thinks.

It was awesome.

The best thing that's happened to me this month was playing through Persona 5 on the PS4. I got to experience what I would consider to be the best JRPG since the 90's. I spent over 100 hours of free time playing that game, and don't regret any second of it.

Bad run but still first WR since the new glitches from last year. This run was awesome. I like to play this game, so I consider it the best thing that happened to me in May. FINALLY a route. (Also, for reference, yes I'm CatlyPaw, I would change username here but I can't due to issues that I don't like)

This run had also affected the MLDT SR community with other stuff which is really awesome.

I slept a lot.

That's pretty much all I have to report for this month and last month.

Still pretty amazing though.

So far the best thing that has happened this month of June is that I am organizing to go out more so....there are 2 events I am going to. First off on facebook I saw a poster about a Studio Ghibli film going to be in a theatre and that film is Kiki's Delivery Service! I am going to see it live its only for a limited of time I had to ask my brother if he can go to take me. I sensed he was busy so I asked my sister all she said was really? Send me the link on fb and I'll buy the tickets. I was jumping up for joy so I'll be going on my anniversary day as of how long I stayed on vizzed which is the 16th of August. As for the second one I plan on going to Studio Ghibli party. Its in London in the city not too far away and I plan on going dressed as Chihiro from Spirited Away. This will be on the 24th of June. XD

The best thing that happened to me this month easily was rediscovering Vizzed! I am so glad I found it again because this is such an amazing site! I had just happened to be looking for an easy to get Dreamcast emulator and arrived on this site, "Hmm I think I've been here before...." The Dreamcast emulator worked perfectly for me and I felt kinda bad that I had forgotten this site over all those years. Of course, I was only like 11 or 10 years old, but that's no good excuse! I've been trying to post regularly and tell as many people I can about the site. I really want to take care of as many favors for Vizzed as I can as long as it will help the site out!

This past month it was probably finding out I'll be getting an A as my final grade in English. I've been struggling a lot back and forth in that subject and have been stuck between A and B (scale of grading is A-F where E is passing). In the past, the teacher really hasn't liked me because she feels I disrupt the class too much. I really haven't liked her because I feel she has given unfair judgements more than once (most of our class thinks so) which is bad enough on its own but I've also had a lot of bad experiences with past English teachers that makes me feel even more critical. The past few months I've tried to just suck it up and do the assignments and it seems to have paid off. I consistently got mostly As and a few Bs on the different parts of the assignments. I aced the final national exams as I did last year and that was enough to secure an A.

Still feels unfair though because one of my friends who performed on a B level in writing all year, including the final exam still got an A as a final grade. From what I can tell it's just because she likes him, as had it been me I doubt she would've made the same judgement. You didn't hear it from me though <.< >.> After much wondering it appears we'll have her next year as well which no one including herself seems particularly happy about. Hopefully I don't have go through this whole thing again next school year.

The month is still pretty young, but the best thing that's happened to me this month is managing to pull together a highly entertaining 20-minute video on my computer about water bottle flipping. It's a silly trend but I decided to make it a competition to see which size bottle is most effective to flip.

I tried to make it funny even for those who can't stand this trend, so I utilized many goofy camera angles and I even spun and shook the camera many times for a not-at-all-serious dramatic effect.

I feel like such a nerd...

I've been out of town A LOT this month, and the best things normally happen at home. 

The best thing that has happened to be has probably been getting this week to sit at home and play games that I haven't played in a while (Roller coaster tycoon, stuff like that). 

I also got to compete in the Bomberman finale, which was really fun, and I won my Summer netplay tournament week 2 match against a really good team, which was exciting.

Also I've had a blue username for the last couple of days, and it's been really cool to remember how it felt to post lol. 

The best thing that happened to me this month is when I got to see my Canadian relatives on the fourth of July. They only visit our family and my cousins once a year so I guess you can say its kinda rare for us to see them.

We went to a wonderful beach camp in Michigan and got to see fireworks at night with them. Good times sure are good but sometimes happen so little.

Yesterday, my father celebrated an awesome party for his birthday. Family, from both his and my mother's side, coworkers, friends of his... There was just too much people there, and since we all followed a strict dress code it was hard to discern "friend from foe" xD

We had quite the dinner, but the best came after. My father and his friends brought a band they've known for a while because they totally rock it. I heard very good things about them, so I was intrigued to see how much true the rumours were. It ended up being legendary, the singer being able to fully mimic two dozens of musicians from all over the world and always pranking around. Coupled with the summer heat, everybody ended up fully soaked, though a few jumped into the pool in an attempt to counter it lol

Even now I feel exhausted from all the action and the laughs we had. The terrain wasn't the best, we were in a garden after all and with so many people jumping and stomping... Well, you can imagine what follows. Even the singer couldn't believe how hard it was to dance in such a bumpy terrain until he also stepped in.

I don't think we'll have a party like this in a lot of time, so I'll treasure the memories I have from it. We needed something like this after all the turmoil happening around, and the band played such an awesome role.

My boyfriend came to see me, and we spent yesterday and this morning together. To explain the entire day and keeping it family friendly:

He came and rented a hotel room Friday night. Yesterday, he picked me up at noon, and we went straight to the hotel to relax. After an hour, we went to my favorite restaurant, Red Lobster, to eat. When we finished eating, we went straight to the mall to buy a new phone case for my phone because the one I had was almost no longer one piece (it's flimsy as hell!.) Then, it was back in the apartment and cuddling some more. Afterwards, we went to a CVS store because I continue to cough badly at night and I ran out of pills for it. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped by for food at a typical fast food restaurant. After returning, we went to the pool in the hotel and swam together, and then bathe together afterwards. We then went out again to shop for water and mochi ice cream. And then the rest of the night was just eating Japanese snacks, watching Friends, and cuddling together.

This morning would've been just cuddling in bed, except we had to check out of the hotel by 11. After we left, we went to a Chinese buffet and ate sushi (I would've eaten more, but uh... I kinda got full ;; ). And at last, he took me back home.

Easily the best thing that has happened to me this month.

Turning 18, I guess. Which is kind of sad, to be honest, if that's the best thing that's happened to me this month. Thinking about changing that soon, though.

Best thing that's happened to me this month is that I passed the first half of my driver's test, I suppose. I never bothered with a license, because I never had a car or a way to acquire one.

With the circumstances in my life, once I get my full license, I might have a car, so I have a reason to get a license now.

I can't say much else has been terribly positive.

The best thing that happened to me this month is the discussion I had with my Bible study group tonight. I got to open up about some struggles and fears I have, and hearing others' experiences with the same issues made me feel better about it.

Anxiety runs in my family, but sometimes I don't realize the way it greatly influences the way I think in certain situations. It's one of the many reasons I don't look at news much, especially if it happened in my area.

Well this month has been pretty badass. 2 weeks ago I finally got a full time job, and I work mornings (off by 9:30AM) currently heading into week 3, no issues, co-workers are great, bosses like me, so this is just awesome. It will eventually lead into better pay, and it's a hard working job, so it's helping me get into better shape. Today is my birthday as well, so can't complain at all about that. Just kinda hanging out here at home for a bit, relaxing, and going to enjoy the weekend.
