What are some laws that are different in Sweden than they are in America? 

I WIn Also : I don't use any nicotine products, pretty much everyone in my family smokes cigarettes (aside from me) but no one uses snus). I know people outside of it who do, but I wouldn't be able to tell much about which brand of snus is the best.

A user of this : Last game I played was Kingdom Hearts Final and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days in the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 remix collection (which is really more of a cutscene collection than it is a game). Since writing an article on it yesterday. I've been replaying the games in preparation for Kingdom Hearts 3, I'm enjoying but I want to finish it so I can get to the others since I've never played Re:CoM, BBS and 2 being my current favorite in the series which 1 is about somewhere in the middle.

On a serious note I'm not really sure, don't think I have a single favorite, it's all good though I typically prefer the questions that allows me to go off on a rant or that requires me to actually think a bit. In other words definitely "why are you Swedish?" "Do Swedes eat cheese?" and "Are you a gamer (I'm curious)"

That's like asking if I footbag, yes, I do. In fact I am so mlg I have discovered the sure to win strategy. Get a blue shell and stay in 2nd place only to use it right at the end. I call it the Zlinqx being a douchebag (patent pending). In all seriousness I've actually never personally owned a mario kart game. The only Nintendo consoles I've had or have is the Gamecube DS lite and 3ds and for some reason I never got Mario Kart on those due to prioritising other games. Doesn't mean I haven't played my fair share of Mario Kart 64 on vizzed though or at other people's pace in the past(I'm da bomb on Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart Wii).

Lexatom : I guess my favorite would be Gravlax (raw salmon cured in salt and sugar) it's very tasty and works great to eat in a lot of different ways. On a sandwich as part of a full dish, you name it.

My least favorite would be the infamous Surströmming (which is basically herring that has been fermented). It's pretty infamous for it's horrible smell, and the taste isn't much better from my recollection of trying it. You might also know that some airlines have banned it because they think the can is explosive... In short I just like to stay far away from the stuff. Don't know many people outside of some seniors who actually like it.

thing1 : I can't say any specific laws that could be considered very similar. There are many laws which lack a counterpart here though and vice versa. For example like many European countries, there is no right to bear arms here. The only instance in which you're allowed to purchase and own gun (assuming you don't have a job where you need it) is if you're a member of some sort of shooting club in which case you can get a special license. They must also be stored in a special gun safe. One big difference is our constitution consisting of 4 law: freedom of press, freedom of speech, the succession act (determines that oldest of the monarch of Sweden's children is to be their successor) and the instrument of government (which essentially determines our representative parliamentary system of government. It is actually amendable though it is significantly harder to change than other laws. A majority vote must past twice in the riksdag (parliament) and the next election need to take place between the votes. Even when a change is first enacted a referendum can be brought forward by a member of parliament if 1/3 of all the members support it and if a majority then votes for the change it would be reversed.

Another big difference is the principle of public access which is a series of rules that states that all documents created and received by the documents should be made public to the general population. In theory you can therefore go and search the state archives for any document you like (even if few ever do). Though exceptions have since been added to this such as when it dealing with national security and relations with other states, generally it's regarded as a very important principle and means our government is more transparent than most.

The reason I asked about the laws is because I saw your post responding to somebody, saying something about not being able to get a Driver's License until you are 18 in Sweden. I meant laws like that, not how your government is set up. But, that's very interesting, so thanks for sharing.

thing1 : During the cold war we were one of the few countries truly considered neutral especially during the 70s/80s since we were open critics of both the US and Russia. Since then we've become pretty clear allies to the US however though in recent news very few here are happy that Trump won the election.

Lexatom : I would say I use English more online but Swedish more outside of the Internet. I'm the on the Internet a lot but rarely talk to other Swedes or use my Swedish, I watch a few Swedish youtube channels but it's still pretty rare for me to use it all. In real life on the hand I naturally use Swedish more. The only points I do use English is during class since I have my lessons except other languages in English. When talking with friends I pretty much use Swedish though.

A user of this : Despite this seeming hard to believe considering what I'm like now I was a pretty big believer in a lot of things that were super natural. It's hard to remember any specifics but I know when I was really young my mom tricked me into there was an actual snake in the bat tub drain (to get me out of it I guess lol) and ever since then I would always make sure to get up before it was emptied. Like most young kids I also believed in Santa but I took it one step further since I also had this book that said they were real. I got into an argument with my mom about it at some point which lead to me reluctantly accepting the fact he wasn't real probably the single most heated spiritual discussion of my life After that I became a vocal Santa denier and tried to teach this one girl in my class who still believed in her that he wasn't real.

Favorite movie is a tough one, not sure if I have a single one though I guess I can think of several that's up there. Star Wars is definitely my favorite movie franchise (looking past the first two films) but I wouldn't say any of them are my favorite film. Other films I love include Fight Club, Forrest Gump, Inception, Silence of the Lambs, V for Vendetta, The Wolf of Wall Street, Alien ,Pretty much almost anything by Studio Ghibli (particularly Spirited Away and The Grave of the Fireflies), The Monthy Python Movies, Kill Bill (Tarantino movies in general), The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, The Big Lebowski, Fantasia, Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline, The Lion King basically too many to actually state since my taste in movies (and games) are very varied. Maybe that'll give you some idea though lol.

I read books from time to time but not nearly as often as I'd like to. Overall I wouldn't say I read them regularly anymore. Having limited free time most of the year I  usually end up spending it doing something more easily accessible like playing video games or watching anime. Out of the last few books I did read last year (which weren't school related) that is, Shogun was the only one that was fictional and I mostly got into it from my brother giving it to me as a gift. The rest were educational books including In their darkest hour, Economics: A very short introduction and a few others. Most of the little reading I have done has been focused on learning, though there are many books I would like to read at some point both educational and purely fictional. All of the books were ones I picked up at chance, but among other things, I'm always intending on catching up on reading lol.

When I was younger I used to read much more frequently though that was probably in part due to not having Internet meaning outside of video games and TV it was one of my main ways to actually pass time.

A user of this : I know right, it blows my mind just thinking about it. Especially since he was going up against Hillary and all mainstream Swedish media really seems to care about is that she's a woman because having the first woman president would be monumental, never mind the fact that she's probably one of the worst candidates to ever come out of the party (in my own humble opinion ). They were going to crap on the Republican candidate no matter who it was. Though to be fair I think it was drawn even further due to it being Trump specifically just because he's viewed by people in most western European countries as completely unsuitable for president and the idea of him ever becoming one isn't too far away from imagining Kanye West become the democrat candidate (which actually might not be an impossibility next election lol).

I don't think I have a set favorite food, I'm a pretty big kebab eater though and like most things that involve pasta, one of my favorite foods ever since I was little has been spaghetti and meatballs (simple but good tasting). I generally like having as much variety I can in my food though, aside from something containing mushrooms (which I hate in any way shape or form) I'm up for trying most things.

I already summed up my thoughts in another thread but I guess I can give a recap here. I'm starting to feel like Nintendo might be trying to do too many things at once with the Switch to where they're not going to be able to deliver on their promises. The price is pretty decent but the short battery life is worrying with it only being about 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours for Breath of the Wild which is still only a launch title and therefore it can be expected that most big Switch releases will last a similar if not shorter duration. Feels like that compromises the practicality of the portability since you're probably not going to be able to do things like what was shown in the trailer (playing Breath of the Wild on a flight, unless it's a short flight).  This could be addressed by releasing a version of the console with a longer lasting battery but that would mean having screwed over the launch adapters. While not everyone is going to take it outside of the home much, that still begs the question of why even including portability in the first place if it's not going to be very practical, as then that money could've been put into just making a top performing home console in stead.

The storage space limitation also worries me. Only having 32gb of built in storage space seems horrible. While games are going to be saved on the cartridges themselves apparently, it's going to limit the ability to download games digitally and the viability of things like DLC. I really think digital distribution should be their focus as that is generally superior to physical copies looking past the resell value (and the collection value which only a few dedicated fans are likely to care about). I know that it will support up to 250gb added memory through an SD but an expensive additional purchase shouldn't be required just to make it closer to but still inferior to the PS4 and Xbone in terms of storage. The other possibility is that the games are much smaller which seems like it might indicate that it's not really going to be on par with the PS4 and Xbone graphically which is what I felt it really needed to achieve now that they've been out for so many years as that would seem like the sweet spot in terms of having enough graphical power to appeal to both developers and customers. In particular when it seems like it's not going to support installing the game on the console itself. Otherwise I fear the case might become something similar to the Wii U where developers might end up feeling too hold back by it. But we'll see I guess since a lot of companies have still announced their support of the console.

I support paid online though, I think it's the best decision Nintendo could've made as a company. It's become the new industry standard and it's good that Nintendo seems to have caught onto it. Though this should mean that they're going to branch more into online gaming otherwise there's not much point to having it. Depending on if they're offering free monthly games like Sony and Microsoft the price might need to be lower. The negative might be limiting their market a bit in terms of discouraging people who were looking to pick it up alongside another console (like me).

I'd say it started out swood but now its become too repetitive (still miles better than harambe though which should've died much earlier than it did). It needs to die and be replaced by a new trend, preferably something involving Jontron

Probably because it's one of the more recognizable shows out there. Also we are number one is pretty funky.

Her name is MIsh. She's a farm cat that was part of a litter of kittens my mom's ex co worker's cat had. In other words probably a mix of several. She doesn't act much like one since she's entirely an indoors cat. I tried a few times to get her to go outside the door but she refused. At most she might dare to go outside at night when it's quiet and someone else in the family goes outside as well but she'll rush in if she hears someone or something. 

I would like to think so but sadly no. I do not think all of America or the world for that matter are ready to fully accept the truth given to us by the Splash TV network into their hearts. It is growing though and it is my hope and belief that it will eventually become the number 1 most trusted soruce of news.


gamerforlifeforever : Yes, I've been talking about this since before the democrat candidate was even decided. All the polls pitting Sanders against Trump showed him generally doing much better than Clinton. If she would've been finally out of the picture then the media would've been forced to focus on him in stead of ignoring him as has often been the case during the election of the democrat candidate. I think he would've appealed to a lot of Trump voters as well since a lot of the people voting for Trump did so less out of being loyal supporters and more just hating Hillary and wanting to go for the lesser of two evils. People definitely don't hate Sanders, in fact he had the highest approval rating of any candidate running. The fact that Trump wasn't part of the establishment was also one of the main reasons many were voting for him and Sanders bests him in that area as well as not only is he also anti-establishment, but has been very vocal about standing up to corporate donors. It's too bad it didn't happen as I truly think he's the best candidate the democrats have had in a long time. Hopefully someone carries on his spirit next election as I doubt he'll personally be running again.

Not really, outside of holidays I can't say I've been getting enough sleep since starting high school. Me winning insomniac last year is probably testament to that lol. I've gotten better though, I used to average at probably 5 or so hours of sleep last school year (when at my worst) and sometimes even pulled all nighters. Now I've been making sure to get at least 6-7 hours of sleep even if that still leaves me tired during the later hours of the day.

Probably mafia. I like how the game constantly switches up. Due to the nature of the potato rules and the fact that each role composition might be vastly different from the others. You also get to see a whole other side of some people when playing I think murder mystery would be pretty interesting if playing from the perspective of the murderer though.

I'm honestly not sure. Getting a part time job shortly before the Christmas holiday and school getting busy has made the time I spend on vizzed kind of irregular. It also makes it hard to do anything long term so take that for what you will. If I have any ideas I'll shoot them your way but as of now I can't say I'll make any hard commitments.

Outside of that I've also lived at other places than home in the past for more than a month. While at my grand parents place which outside town or at summer camp, that kind of stuff.
