It could be, but I feel like this period of good games have lasted for a while though, I think developers have finally heard us out after the generally disappointing years that were 2014 and 2015. I do expect that we'll see another period of disappointment as the market becomes oversaturated again. My solution? PLAY ALL THE GAMES.


Yuna1000 : It varies a lot depending on my general mood, if I have anything else planned (seeing friends) and if I have school work to catch up on. Depending on if I have the time and interest I could spend 5 or so hours in a row playing a game. I've spent even more on a game in the past. However it's rare for a game to catch my interest like that nowadays as opposed to when I was younger and any game became addicting. I blame having my own money and being able to buy a lot of different games as opposed to being forced to make due with whatever I got at Christmas, found cheap at the flea market or got from my older brothers which was the case in the past. I guess that meant I treasured the games I had in another way.

gamerforlifeforever : It probably is as simple as poor sales. They figured people have little interest in the console. I think a lot of that had to do with the very steep launch price (costing more than some actual main consoles) which set it up for its initial failure. Most people who have played both agree that the Vita is the superior console in terms of the hardware you get for your money. The problem has been the lack of games and the fact that most good exclusives that have been released to it are either remasters/remakes of old games or simply slightly inferior versions of their main console counterparts. The 3ds library have much more imaginative offerings combined with well established huge IPs like Pokemon. The few unique and really well thought out games (in terms of taking advantage of the Vita) that have ended up making it to the console like Tearaway and Gravity Rush, have ended up getting ports to the PS3/PS4 not long after.

I wanted to play Pogeymanz and one google search later I was here. I didn't discover the forum until a year or so later and my posts were pretty spammy at the time. For reasons I forgot I reregged which was later approved by David and some after that became active on the minecraft server and made friends there, 3 years later here I am.

It uses PEGI so it's like every other European country. It's not too different, we have 3+ 7+ 12+ 16+ 18+. Those last two might contribute to there being some more nuance. Still dumb though, since Bloodborne only got 16+. The only neat thing about it is that it has specific labels for different types of content that people might want to avoid (so if there's gambling, drugs, violence etc).

For movies I think the only limits are 7+ 11+ (being able to see certain movies without an adult) and 15+. I think I watched Anabelle (horror movie) like a week after turning 15 with some friends.

yoshirulez! : I don't really have any strong opinions on it. It does not appeal to me personally but figures as I'm an edgy Atheist. It is largely based on the same teachings as Christianity and retells most of the same event. Jesus is arguably considered the most important prophet aside from Mohammed. As someone who has gone to school with and have a lot of friends who are Muslims as well as Muslim relatives I hate islamophobia. A lot of popular seriously view muslims as potential terrorists or ISIS as representative of Islam as a whole while that is far from the truth. Most muslims are just ordinary people.

Out of the ones I can name from the top of my head I would say Lesotho. It's a small country that's entirely landlocked and is in South Africa. Something like 40% of their population live below the international poverty line and to a large extent it's just various tribes.

Honestly I quite like the current era if it was between this and any previous ones. We're in a new golden age of video games and through the internet have access to information on just about anything one can imagine. In most developed nations it is very possible to find a career path that allows you to do something you enjoy. Aside from that, the food people ate before the industrial era was often quite gross and many struggled to just get through day to day life. Things like grass and oatmeal were common food for the average peasant family meaning people were horribly malnourished and there was a very little chance if any to escape that life as society was so based on hierarchy and tradition. They were also extremely superstitious even if that's understandable due to the lack of knowledge.

No, I think I have a good idea of what to expect thanks to doing research on the internet when I finally go there. Trying onsen does seem like it would be neat though.

Yay, I like the fact that you can use it for voice chatting, and all kinds of non vizzed related stuff as well, it has a lot of functions that's not on the on site chat. At the same time I would still prefer an on site chat closer to that of the old flash chat.

A user of this: Atheism is still edgy right?... Right?! Uh probably my opinions on the site related things to be honest, Some people seem to agree with me but I've found more disagreement than agreement at least among those who are vocal.

Absolutely no idea what that is, but it sounds like something I would like.

I'm already there, unfortunately I'm an illegal immigrant at this point because they're not accepting new residents.

ZeroTails : Yeah as long as I feel I could keep up with quota. Being global gives you a more direct opportunity to influence the direction of the site compared to local (as I'm sure you know) so it would definitely be my end goal. However it's not something I'm constantly thinking about right now, if it happens, it happens if not I don't mind too much since I'm used to being a local.

greenluigi : This would be pretty difficult but if I absolutely had to pick something I think I'd go with Suikoden. You probably haven't heard of it (not too many have) since the last western release was back on the PS2 and it never became much of a mainstream success. It's a JRPG series focusing a lot on characters, (you actually go through the game recruiting allies to join you in your cause sort of like collectathon) and there's a lot of political tension and drama which I've always been a sucker for more so since RPGs are my favorite genre. To compare it to something more well known like Final Fantasy I find the story and themes are usually more grounded compared to the spectacle you often see in that franchise. The series holds a special place for me as well as Suikoden 3 and 5 were some of the very first JRPGs I played. I think what puts it above the rest for me, is the consistent quality, All main installments from 1-5 are amazing games with the exception of 4 which I would rate as simply alright. While there are installments that I love in other franchises like Tales of, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts etc. I don't feel they've been able to match the consistent quality. Too bad Konami hold the rights to it which means we'll either probably not see a new release or if it does happen it will likely pale in comparison and be riddled with microtransactions.

yoshirulez! : Nope, I tend to prefer solo artists, though I'm not much of a music listener in general either.

Swedish music is actually hell, it is rare for me to like any song that is sung in Swedish, even more so bands because the only Swedish bands I can think of are something called dansband (don't look that up).

thing1 : Not much, TdV for the past couple of years have mostly just been the same crowd of people competing which one can see in the usual deadness of the white banner. Couple that with the fact that more of the long standing members have either left or started being less active and I don't think the TdV will make much of a difference. We need new members to actually boost activity and the TdV won't help in attracting any.


tyranit : I can speak Swedish fluently as it is my mother tongue as well as English which I've learned primarily through things like tv shows and video games. I've taken French for the past 6 years but my knowledge is still quite basic all things considered because I never made much of an effort to properly learn it. For the past 2 years I've solely been taking it for extra credit when applying for university. In regards to comprehension I'm probably at an intermediate level but communication is all over the place, I know some of the more advanced stuff but have forgotten a lot of what would be considered beginner level.

I've been taking Japanese for almost a year and am currently at what I would consider beginner level, I can read the basic scripts hiragana and katakana, and know some kanji (Chinese characters which are used within Japanese as well) I can form simple sentences and know a decent amount of entry level vocabulary but I'm still very much a novice. I am looking to get to a level where I can watch things like Japanese tv shows and read books without too much trouble but I don't expect that to happen in a long time.

gamerforlifeforever : I like both but I'd probably go for fried chicken more often than not if I have the chance even though I eat more grilled chicken. I love KFC in particular though I don't get to eat it that often since there's only like 2 KFCs in my city and both are quite far away from where I live. Whenever I travel somewhere I like to have it if I get the chance (in between trying the food popular in that country lol).
