Whats the worse thing that has ever happened to you during the Christmas holidays?

What is the worse thing that has ever happened to you during the holidays? I think for me....um I don't want to go into full details for this so I will only say small....only a handful of people know about it. I say when my block tv fell from the stool when I was playing my ps2 and it fell....right onto my right feet toe. It really did hurt. I'm not going to say further more on that. Having that happened really did ruin my Christmas holiday. So anything of the sort happened to you as well?

 Eight years ago, my Grandpa was admitted to the hospital. He hadn't been feeling well and was scared enough to want to come into the city and go to the hospital. He had bone cancer. He was in the hospital for about 2 months including his birthday. He loved Christmas and everyone wanted him to be there with family one more time. He passed away on Nov. 27th. Eight years and Christmas still isn't the same and I don't think it ever will be.

Few years ago, five days before Christmas, my brother in law died in a motorcycle accident not far from where we lived. He left my sister widow and my three nieces without a father- all very young no older than 12. It was a tough time and my sister although they were planning to get divorced, was very affected by it. It lead to a lot of bad things in our family and we became distant. I've recently gained my sister and my nieces back but, after so many years, it's hard to be able to build a strong relationship with my nieces and they're going down a bad path. But, this will  be the first Christmas in many years where we get to be a family again so, I have a lot of decoration and work to do - we're planning on three turkeys so far

Christmas 1998,i was 13 and was rushed to hospital,appendicitis,was a lot of fun i will tell you,spent Christmas in a hospital ward full of dying old men,luckily i wasn't dying but was the worst Christmas ever for me
