YAY another rant!

I'm pretty sure that 80-90% of Rocket League players don't know how to play or even what a team is. Bots are terrible at playing, but most players are much worse.



3 players will all go after the ball and kill each other to get it first.

One player messes something up and another will start going after them and either pushing them on purpose or messing up their shots or whatever.

Players don't know how defense works, or what it even is for that matter. They assume that if someone scores, it's automatically the fault of the team member who is the farthest away from the ball and not theirs.

Every now and then you get a team that just clicks, but almost all the time you suck because your team doesn't know how to keep the ball out of their OWN GOAL.

Rocket League in 3v3/2v2 is all about teamwork, you have to coordinate as a team. If all 3 of you go after the ball at once, there's a very, very high chance the enemy team will get the goal. Here's what I recommend in 2v2 (I never play 3v3), one of you goes after the ball, the other stays in the center, and hits the ball when it's near them, or, defends it.

I get the impression that the same could apply to pretty much any online multiplayer game with randomly paired teams, since I have the same problem in World of Tanks Blitz. No one uses their frontal armor, everyone thinks they can frontally assault a tank destroyer with a machine gun and there's no coordination whatsoever, and that's on a 7v7 scale. I guess the only way to get a decent team together is to bring friends.

Yeah, I am not very good at the game, but I don't care, I find the game to be a lot of fun to play. Hell I have had some great moments of getting a goal, and some lucky moments, which I wish I would of done a montage of them, they were hilarious.
