Happy birthday!! Congratulations on being 6 years away from 30! 

Well, my day has been quite an average Sunday. Waking up in the morning to answer notifications and messages from my friends and family, lunch with cake and gifts, and more notifications and messages to answer during the afternoon and night.

One good point is that most of my family has learnt to use Whatsapp. This way, they simply send a message, I answer back and done. Only my cousin has called me, so not spending the whole day at the phone now belongs to the past (so much yes!).

Another good point is that mom learned from the mistake of buying a rather big cake for just the three of us. This time, she bought six different mini-cakes, easily distributed in three slices each, so we had several flavors to enjoy: blueberry, strawberry, lemon, orange, chocolate and a local speciality we proudly call "crema catalana" (literally catalan cream, but it's just burnt cream with a nice name xD).

I didn't get many gifts, simply because we have a tradition of celebrating all my mother's family's birthday in a single reunion. Since the last one (me) will be over in an hour, two weeks from now we'll have that fated meeting and hopefully gifts for everyone, with a good dose of laughter ensured. I'm also planning a party with my friends, since there's one of our group who turns 23 just tomorrow and we celebrate our birthdays together. The party should be during the next weekend, though the last two years was held on Thursday and I bet they'll want to follow said tradition by organizing the party on the 10th.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, both for those who replied here and those that left me a profile comment. I can honestly say it's the year I've received the most from all directions, so thanks twice for making this special day even more special in my own history.

geeogree : Looking back in time, I'm actually old. But then I remember that most of my cousins are entering/surpassing the 40s and I'm happy again

Mynamescox44 : It indeed was a fun day compared to my average day, so can't comply about family life today. As for the things I love, I've slept quite a bit, I've loafed around quite a lot and I have the whole night to play videogames, so yay for me!

plasticinsanity : Funny thing is I'm the only one of my cousins who hasn't hit 30 yet, and I have a long way to go before that. Being the youngest of the family also has its good things, it seems.
