Sometimes, you're given a lot of work to do. It happens to be very important, but you don't find the time and/or motivation to do it. So... you might hold it off in the end to do other things, which is quite a gamble. How often might you actually procrastinate? Or do you do work as soon as possible? Ponder.

The only times I do my work as soon as possible is when working in teams. If I'm all by myself, I tend to hold it off until the deadline comes closer.

While it may feel like I'm a lazy person (which I'm not denying), I actually feel motivated to do work after a few days of seeing it around. I'm unable to work on something the moment I'm given it, but after a couple days I feel like tackling it. Of course, this applies now in university, school homework in my case wasn't that big of a deal so as to hold it off.

It may be a gamble, but I've discovered that the more time the thought of doing the work passes through my mind the more hunger for it I awake. I can be a day away from the deadline and not feel the pressure because I'm on pace to do it. I don't have to push myself because I want to do it whole-heartedly.

I don't mind doing work but what I don't like is being called numerous times which makes me to tire out so quickly and that is when I get annoyed saying no. Wait, or do it yourself because I find myself out of breath having trouble to breath because of the amount of times being called for something going up and down the stairs more times that I can count, and then not rest how I normally would do.

No, seriously, I am not much of a procrastinator. When it comes to doing something (especially something mundane) I try to get to it quickly, so I can devote more time to the things I enjoy. For instance, on days when I have a lot of errands to run, I start as early as possible to avoid heavy traffic and big crowds. I'm pretty much a house-mouse, so I prefer to be at home where all my favorite things are.

Thanks to writing here for years and writing articles all over the place, I've trained myself to be able to research and write 3-4 pages in an hour, so I'm almost always able to get something done in one day.

My parents pretty much agree that I have a bit of diagnosed ADD. I'm a major procrastinator.

You can probably imagine why I absolutely hate projects...

When I have homework, I try to get it all out of the way before drama practice, but my brain doesn't like that. Not one bit. That's why it finds the most clever ways to hold it off for just a few minutes longer. I notice that the garbage needs to be emptied, my bedroom needs to be cleaned, I can watch just one more episode of The Big Bang Theory, you name it.

And when I have homework on Fridays, I'm usually too drained to do any of it, so I intentionally put it off until Sunday night, when I misjudge the amount of time needed & end up finishing it after midnight.

Ultrajeff : whenever I have anything important to do I like to get things done as soon as possible in fact I even get up anytime between 4or 5 in the morning just to do the things I need to do around the house and if I have any shopping to do I like to get it done early before the stores start to get busy but if it,s a day when I have to work I like to wait until I have a day off to do my shopping unless it,s something I really need but whenever I have a day off from work I always like to get my important things done as soon as possible so I can have more time to do the things I enjoy
