So who's likes this show?

I have been watching this show on and off since it came out. I'm not alone of those super fans and I like the older episodes more, but I'm a pretty decent fan of the show.

How long have you been watching, who are your favorite characters, and what are your thoughts on the show?

I've watched about 8 episodes of the first season and while I do enjoy the show I feel like it needs something to tie things together better. I'm sure that eventually does happen but I wish it happened earlier. It feels like there are only a handful of nuggets that are supposed to string you along hoping for answers but I didn't get enough to keep me interested. I moved on to other shows instead.

geeogree : Back then, it wasn't really expected that he Show would be as popular as it would have become or last as long, so the creator didn't think it would be best to delve too much into characters and whatever, but I think t was around the start of season 3 where it was taken more seriously.

Well you are speaking my language lately lol. I love this show, I follow them both on Facebook and they are so corky and funny. I love watching their dark humor when they are recording it's great specially Misha Collins (Castiel) he is such a character which really takes you by surprise given that you see him as a serious and somewhat sarcastic character in the series. I started watching it a year ago and use to watch it all the time, now, I am on and off but, nevertheless it's a great show and hard to get bored from it- every episode is so unique. Though I really get scared watching it alone at night with all the demons, witches, ghosts and all. 

I am in love with Dean Winchester- that name is in my list of great names to use for a pet or a child hahaha
Sam is great too just too emotional and somehow it deviates him from doing what needs to be done which just prolongs it.
Castiel is epic- he is hilarious. So clueless at times and so clever at the same time.
Crowley is just a mystery to me...he must love the Winchesters
I miss Bobby and Kevin  

I hate the Leviathans and Dick Roman- he is ...just what his name says lol.

I've been watching this show since the 1st episode aired and still watch it despite the whole misconception of demons and angels or whatever. I just view that part as how "good and evil" is portrayed in a fiction setting.

I started watching Supernatural back in 2005 or 2006. I was 12 to 13-years-old then so I remember being a bit scared of some of the episodes. I can't remember which season was the last I watched but I think it was 7 or 8, so it has been years since I watched the series. I really loved the old Supernatural but I got slightly bored at some point. I think my favorite season is the fourth one.

sillysoul : I was probably around that age too when I first started seeing it, but it struck me as something totally unique to what I normally watched so I was sucked in.

My mom picks up a box set of Supernatural any time she can. I thought the first couple seasons were actually pretty good but, while I'll admit I haven't watched a whole lot of the later seasons, it just started to feel like they were trying too hard to tie it all up in some big, deep plot. Don't get me wrong, I love story driven stuff. But it just seemed a little forced to me.

I'm with the general consensus here about watching it when it first came out and then not keeping up with it. My mom and I would watch it together since we both have a love of things paranormal or supernatural in general (lol). Then for whatever reason, life gets in the way and you kinda forget the show exists for a while, but I keep coming back to catch up with it from time to time. The thing that I love is how diverse it is in the subject matter, be it angels vs. demons or even real life folklore that people may not have ever heard of; better than your typical vampire, werewolf, or zombie type shows there seem to be an over commodity of these days...

I love Sam and Dean's brotherly dynamic, but Crowley is pretty cool too, and Cas, of course is awesome. As is Gabriel. 

The show goes on for way too long... it's decent, but for crying out loud have some plot advancement once in a while.

If it wasn't for that, it would be a pretty good series.
