Sometimes, stress overwhelms me. I can't think straight. I go emotionally overboard. My thoughts go haywire.... the works. When I'm just so stressed daily, what I use to calm my nerves is some nice, soothing music (Particularly Earth, Wind & Fire) and a nice, cold drink. It works every time. What helps you relax?

Sleeping. Talking to friends, drinking my favourite drink which is supermalt, watching videos, or playing games. These are the most common things I would do to help me relax. I hate being stressed or near to it so I make sure to prevent myself not to even go there.

Meeting friends always helps me to relax. Keeping all that stress and the thoughts related to it to yourself is a heavy burden. If no friends are available I write my thoughts down. I also like to just lie on the couch and listen to music. Playing games is relaxing too but if I'm over-stressed I can't concentrate on anything, not even on games.

What I usually do is I'll plug in some music and go for a walk. I don't really care how cold or dark it is out, I'll just go. It helps me get my mind off things and I can think about other things that I like, or am looking forwards to and it also gives me a chance to be creative as well.

I try not to play video games or watch TV or anything when I need to relax when I still have things to do like school work because that just ends up leading to procrastination. I try not to let myself get too stressed in the first place. I'm a fairly easy going guy.
