Ad supported vizzed plugin for Firefox, Chrome etc.

 
Would you like to have an ad supported plugin released where it will alert you when you receive a notification on vizzed such as a PM, Announcement or general notification such as daily viz and thread replies.

I actually started to suggest something similar to this a few months ago. I was thinking a mobile app that alerted you of messages, replies, and other such things would be great. I personally would love it because it simplifies everything plus it could be profitable for Vizzed. And if it were a mobile app, or a mobile app were released that supported messaging through Vizzed it could also streamline things quite a bit and score several ad impressions.


Of course either idea would require some thought and planning to execute in a way that generated enough income to justify the work put into it, but I can dream (and maybe secretly hope).

Eirinn : That's really bizarre... I had the same idea months ago, as well. Something that sends you push notifications on your phone. It would be a really cool utility for the mod team, as well.  Especially so when the local mod summons are fixed.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
