I did something like this last year and had a ton of fun at the New York Comic Con. Got a bunch of cool stuff, met some of my favorite TV people and some YouTubers, and even met vanelan. Now it's time to do it all over again, so for the next couple of days this is going to be filled with awesomeness.

I'll be going tomorrow alone and Sunday with a few of my friends.


I pretty much have tomorrow's plan ready. I'll be at the Regular Show panel, and I plan on getting there really early so that I could ask a question and maybe get a gift set or something for asking. I might go to the Resident Evil/Underworld panel, and at night I'm going to a screening/panel of Howl's Moving Castle Screening.

I also have a long list of free signings and giveaways.

Sunday with my friends I don't have any plans for panels, we're just going to explore, but I do have one big event that's a secret for now.

zanderlex : That should be fun for you guys have fun! And your going to see one of my favourite studio ghibli films! I may watch it today lol it will depend. Have fun, enjoy yourself don't let anything ruin your day. Also will you be taking pictures, and post them up along with how the day went?

That sounds awesome!!! So jelly belly; can't say the comic cons in my area are that great. I hope to not miss the Orlando Comic Con next year as I think it may be the biggest in my area. Why don't you take pictures and post them here?!

Steven Universe screwed me over. We aren't even allowed in to the convention center for like 10 more minutes and I'm already told I can't go to the panel I wanted to solely because of Steven Universe.

zanderlex : Oh dear sorry to hear about that, that's....a real bummer right there. I know you were mostly looking forward to watching the show. I hope this doesn't spoil the rest of your day at the convention. I would be upset too if that was to happen to me. :/

I heard Comicon was going to get hit by Hurricane Matthew from Vinny on Vinesauce, but I wasn't entirely sure if it would happen. Nevertheless if it does happen be sure to stay safe, and hopefully it won't entirely be ruined any more than it already is.

I'm sorry to hear things didn't work out how you wanted them to.

At least you got to go man. I've always wanted to attend, but never had the time or funds to make my way out to where the conventions are actually being held. It kind of sucks living where I do because most of the big expos like this or E3 are always stupid far away

yoshirulez! : Nah, the hurricane is supposed to hit the afternoon during the final day of comic con, so either after it ends or during the final hour, and it will be about 50 miles off shore too, so worst case scenario is 40 MPH winds and flooding a couple miles away from the center.


Tomorrow is going to be a big day, I'm at my friends house planning things now.

zanderlex : Gheeze that's one scary weather you guys have got there. And I have heard from someone a lot of people die from these big weather that happens too.,...good to hear at least you are looking forward to tomorrow.

So I'm finally sitting down at my laptop for the first time since Comic Con and I can talk about everything that happened, maybe even show a few pics.

Sunday was an amazing day. I was able to meet Joey Graceffa (Profile pic) and I was able to get a book signed by Stan Lee. It's funny because to get the STan Lee book, you had to buy a wristband on Saturday or Sunday for $24 and they only gave away 100 each day, and then you meet Stan and get the book SUnday from 10-10:30.

We didn't get any wristbands because I didn't have money when I was there Friday and we got to the booth to browse other books at like 1, yet they had a few copies left over so we bought those.

I got so many free comic books, as well as free regular books (many signed ones too) I also bought signed copies of World War Z, The Martian, and Warcraft.

I also was able to meet one of my favorite voice actors John Dimmagio and get a photo with him.
