I kind of made this because I wanted to rant about how silly my schedule is and at the same time see if anyone else has any weird class schedules. If you want, you can just say the day and time of classes, or also the class itself.

I only have 4 classes over 3 days but the timing is just so weird and there was nothing I could do about it lol. The 4 classes that I have are Movie, Sports, Business, and Marketing.

I only have one class on Monday, Movie from 12:40PM to 4. It's a very laid back day, basically still the weekend because we watch an old movie and then have to write about the movie during the week. Tuesday I have Sports at 10:20 until 11:20, just over hour break, Business from 12:40 until 4, nearly 3 hour break, and Marketing from 6:30 until 8. Along with travel time, I'm out from 7AM until 11PM.

This is where the schedule gets weird, I have Wednesday off and then on Thursday I have a SEVEN HOUR BREAK between class. I have Sports from 9:10 until 11:30 and then Marketing from 6:30 to 8. The only thing I can do during that time is use my laptop or go out and play Pokemon Go.

What is your schedule like? Do you have any scheduling oddities?

I have a pretty annoying schedule though not to the same extent as yours. Basically I go to a small school meaning there's usually no more than 1-2 teachers for each subject. This creates problems since there's 9 different classes with differing focus and everyone wants different electives and take different languages, meaning some days I'm stuck with having 2 hour breaks between classes. So I end most days around 3--5pm when I often times probably could've ended 1-3 hours earlier. Overall, not a huge deal but still bothersome.

I have built a schedule around what I want so I streamline everything.

I'm awake between 6:00am and 6:30 or so. My wife is showering and off to work by 6:45am and she makes coffee for me.

I sip on coffee until one or both children are awake. I'll feed them breakfast and we're out the door around 7:45am on Mondays, since they go to daycare, or until the grandparents show up to babysit them the rest of the week.

8:45am to 9:00am. I get to work. I proceed to do work things. Every day is different and my responsibilities change for different times during the week, month and year. But work usually goes until about 5:00pm or when I'm done. I'll go home and either pick up the kids on daycare day or go straight home every other day.

We play, we eat dinner, the kids are usually passed out in their beds by about 7:30 or so. It's 30 minutes of cleaning the house, an hour of whatever, sometimes watching tv, sometimes playing games, or reading the paper, and I like to sip on something cold. Maybe I'll go with a nice red wine too.

I'll take a last rinse before bed around 9:00pm. I'll fall asleep in the next twenty or 30 minutes and then it's up and again the next day.

My schedule is good so far (it will change next semester). Monday: 9:00 - 11:00 Child Development 11:00-12:00- Lecture 13:00-14:00 Project Work 14:00-15:00 Library

Tuesday: 9:00-11:00 Mental Health issues 11:00-13:00 Communication level 5 (English pretty much but easier) 14:00-16:00 Human Behaviour (psychology) or Values and Principles ( what is good care practice pretty much). This block switches every week so one week I am doing human behaviour the other Values and Principles.

Wednesday: 9:00-11:00 Guidance (not doing any work here as it is mainly for people to discuss any issues or problems they are having that they can discuss with our class rep). 11:00 - 13:00 Social Influences (sociology) and finally 14:00 - 15:00 Human Behaviour or values and principles again.

If I can add or change another class, my schedule will change a second time next week or so. It's getting changed next week already, but it's barely a difference.

I'm not gonna bother saying the exact times of my classes, but the first class starts at around 7:55 AM and the last class ends at 2:35 PM.

Period 1 is English with a new teacher who is okay for the most part. Not the most exciting class this year, which is sad given how much I love English the past 3 years.

Period 2, depending on the day, is band or chorus. They have always been my period 2 classes every year, because they are always strictly in the period 2 slot, and I always take them. (I made a commitment to be in band and chorus every year.)

Period 3 is 2D art. The 2D and 3D art classes are combined and there are three of them. Conveniently, the art room is right next to the band room, which is right next to the chorus room, so I never have to walk far at all. It's literally right there.

Period 4 is anthropology in the first semester and government in the second semester. I chose to take anthropology, and I honestly can't remember why, and I did not want to take gov, but it's mandatory. So not looking forward to gov next semester...

Period 5 is 3D art, which means going back to the art room.

Period 6 is either studyhall or music production, but instead of going to the room where studyhall is located, I spend my time in the band room, playing either my baritone or the piano. (I also do hw in the bandroom too when I'm done fooling around or don't have a band lesson). Music production is okay, but not exactly exciting or keeping me interested, which is why if I'm able to take a writing class but have to give up a class, this class will go.

Lunch time! Eating lunch with three entertaining boys! (because I have no friends at lunch... ). Also, this is the farthest I have to walk. After period 1, I am stuck at one side of the school from the beginning of period 2 up until the end of period 6, and the cafeteria is at the other side of the school.

Period 7 is science. It was environmental science, but next week, I'm changing it, most likely to natural science which is what I had wanted (but ended up taking environmental cuz it's recommended to me, and I accept challenges like a boss).

Period 8, the end of the day, either a studyhall (this time, I actually show up), weaving class, or gym. So I'm either ending my day sewing in the art room or trying to survive a game of football in the gym. Also, if I have weaving, I'm walking all the way from the back of the school on one side to the front of the school on the other side, and I have to make it there in four minutes.

If I am able to put in writing, then my period 5 and 6 classes will change.

My schedule for school is nice in that I am not taking 8 classes a day and I only have classes for the 3 days of the week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.) This is what my schedule looks like:

Monday:

- Psychology: 9:30AM-10:45AM

(2 hours and 15 minutes I can use however I want)

- Calculus: 2:00PM-4:15PM (In hindsight, this class is way too long...)

Go home.

Wednesday:

- Psychology: 9:30AM-10:45AM

- Student Development: 11:00AM-12:50 (This is a required introductory class....also really long and dull...I only have this class for another week thankfully.)

(1 hour and 10 minutes I can use however I want)

- Calculus: 2:00PM-4:15PM

Go home.

Friday:

English 111: 10:00AM-1:00PM (Another really long class. This is the only class I have on Fridays though)

This my college schedule as of right now (It will be completely different next semester.) I have quite a few classes that are over an hour and a half, but I prefer that over coming to school all five days of the week. I'm also glad I was able to get all the credits needed for a full-time student without scheduling classes early in the morning (one thing I don't miss about high school at all...)

That's what my week looks like not including my work schedule which lasts from 6:00PM to 10:00PM almost every day of the week.

My school schedule is really nice in my opinion, especially for a high school one.

1st period- Algebra 2 from 7:30AM-8:35AM
2nd period- Spanish 4 from 8:41AM-9:46AM
3rd period- Chemistry from 9:52AM-10:58AM
4th period A- Study Hall from 11:04AM-11:34AM
4th period B- Lunch from 11:39AM-12:09PM
4th period C+D- Psychology from 12:14PM-1:19PM
5th period- Fitness Walking from 1:25PM-2:30PM

Most of my classes are only an hour and 5 minutes and I only have 5 classes (not counting study hall, which we sometimes don't have) each day. That's because my school is split up into trimesters (3) instead of semesters (2). 6 minutes inbetween classes seems like a lot but when I have to go through many hallways full of people, stop at my locker, and use the restroom, it's barely enough.

When my school has a 2-hour delay the schedule is so short and I really like it if I don't receive much homework. Each class is only 42 minutes!

I just applied for a job, so if I get it, my school days are going to be a lot more hectic. On days that I have to wake up early for school, I might only get like 2 hours of sleep if this happens, so I might start looking to move some of my classes to different blocks if I have to.

zanderlex : Are you sure you wouldn't want to reduce your workload in some way? oO;; Experience is great and all but if you're stretching yourself to your limits and can no longer function as efficiently as before, perhaps it might be better to be more selective about your activities in case you start being late for all of them (for instance, one delay leads to another until the entire day is derailed)? Sometimes, it might not even be you that's the cause of the delays, so it's often better to leave some time in your schedule between all of the various activities.

My stupid school schedule is the same thing every day.
Each block is about an hour and a half, with five minute breaks in-between.
I have to wake up at 6:30 and be at school by 8:30. School dismisses at 3:15.

B1 is French.
That block's pretty chill. We get a little bit of free time after the tardy bell and announcements. Our teacher's pretty lax about stuff.

B2 is Pre-Calculus.
The teacher is nicer and much more helpful than the one I had for Algebra 2 last year. The class is still hard though.

B3 is Economics and Personal Finance.
I hate this class. It's taught in a computer lab by the most boring man in the world, no joking. At the beginning of class, he locks our desktops and, very boringly, spends a quarter of class time rambling on about the modules we'll be doing today. After he unlocks our desktops, most of us just zip through the modules on this virtual class.

Lunch is at about 12:50.
We drama and band members go early to lunch, wolf our food down, and drama members hang out at the auditorium for the duration of lunch. Mostly, we just chill & talk about what's going to happen with our production.

B4 is Chemistry.
Our teacher is tough, intimidating, and unforgiving, but he cares. Most of my homework comes from this block, and this class is very stressful for me. It's kinda funny where my best grade, an A, is in this class while I'm making B's in the others.

After school on some days, I have academic bowl practice.
On most nights, I have drama practice. In the fall semester, we rehearse our One Act play to perfection (the competitions get very competitive), and in the spring semester, we work on a musical for fun (it's more chill).
My stupid school schedule is the same thing every day.
Each block is about an hour and a half, with five minute breaks in-between.

This was my schedule this semester:

Kinesiology - Monday and Wednesday from 10:30-11:30

Ecology - Monday and Wednesday from 12:30-5:00 (M)/12:30-1:50 (W)

English - Monday and Wednseday from 5:00-7:00

Sociology - Friday from 9:00-12:00

I really like my Ecology and English courses, even if both are way harder than anything I've taken before. Not a big fan of Sociology.

Here's my schedule for this semester:

1st Block - US Government/Gym
2nd Block - Criminal Justice 1
3rd Block - Spanish 2
4th Block - Geometry
5th Block - CP English

Spanish is mandatory and I absolutely hate it. My schedule is also kind of "meh". My last 3 classes are in the same spot on my schedule as they were last semester. Next term we switch from Government to Gym. I haven't had any sort of Gym class in a year or so, but I'm sure I'll be fine. I've been wanting to work out some more so this will help me out a lot. Only problem is that it's IN THE MORNING. Who thought that was a good idea!? Taking a shower will be useless! I take my showers in the morning. Of course, I can just put on deodorant or something but I'll still be sweaty. So dumb.

Lexatom : That seems like a really easy schedule, back before I started college I would have 7 or 8 classes and other people told stories of even more classes than that I'm a day. How long are your class blocks? They probably have to be long to make up for the lack of classes?

zanderlex :

Each class is around an hour/hour and a half long. I have lunch in the middle of 3rd block which lasts around half an hour.

Lexatom : All right, I guess that makes sense, back in high school all of the class blocks were 46 minutes before I think and there was one animal science class i took each year that took up two blocks. If it's the hour and a half class do you get a break at some point? Or do you just go straight through until the end?
