When a user wins an official Vizzed Competition or Tournament, they'll earn a trophy. Trophies are permanently stored in a user's inventory and can be displayed in a trophy cabinet. Each trophy is worth a certain number of points depending on a few factors as you can see in this thread.

Users who are a reigning champion of a certain competition type or of a netplay tournament will have a trophy icon next to their name. I'm hoping these updates encourage and motivate more users to compete in the competitions and tournaments I host.

Here are all of the types of competitions which will award a trophy (the graphic is usually the same based on type):
-Minecraft Competition
-Music Competition
-Video Competition
-Screenshot Competition
-Speed Run Competition
-High Score Competition

Users will also earn trophies in the netplay tournaments. The graphics used for these will depend on the type of tournament.

So far I've handed out trophies to all Minecraft winners, all Vizzed Competition winners over the past 3 months and I'm currently working on handing out trophies to all Netplay Tournament winners. It'll probably take me a while to get all the trophies handed out for all Vizzed Competition winners since there have been 250+ Vizzed Competitions over the past 6+ years.

I honestly believe that the vizzed trophies will be more of an incentive for people to participate in vizzed contests than the Viz or the steam code prizes, at least it is for me anyways. I'm looking forward to seeing what all the netplay trophies look like. The Autumn Netplay trophy should totally look like the Lomardi Trophy.

I actually was thinking about making the Tecmo Super Bowl trophy to resemble the Lombardi trophy lol.
