My Mama has said several times that i have a ridiculously high tolerance to pain, so it worries her whenever i feel something that actually DOES hurt me a bit, like my headaches that I've been having recently. But other than that, stick a needle in me to give me a shot, and i'll take it in stride, with no complaint at all!

I guess my pain tolerance is somewhat high but not that high. I never broke a bone so I might not know how high my pain tolerance is....

But one time, I was a little kid walking in a parking lot (so the ground was hard concrete). Some very big and much older guy was running like an idiot (I think to catch a ball thrown to him from a very far distance) and they somehow ran into me even though I was far away from the ball (and how did they not see me walking? I was almost as tall as that big guy, but a lot more skinny than him.)

So, he bumped into me very hard and we both ended up falling on the hard concrete ground. The only thing is that the big guy fell right on top of me so I pretty much had all the pain. I landed mainly on my shoulders and arms (at least not on my head somehow lol) But I didn't scream from pain somehow and thankfully I didn't break any bones.

I just got up but my walking was a little funny for a few moments. Then the big guy apologized to me. I was mad and I was going to call him an idiot but I just continued walking anyways since I already had enough of him lol. So I guess I can say my pain tolerance was high there. I just got up and continued walking.

However, another time (not that long ago though), I had a stiff neck. When I woke up, I felt normal and no pain at all. But once I tried to get up from my bed, I instantly started screaming very loud like a maniac from pain. I was screaming "MOM DAD!!! HELP! IT HURTS!!!! AHHHHH GAHHH.... etc" I couldn't even move at all from the same exact position I found myself awake in bed.

Soon I got dragged (lol not literally but I guess carried kind of) into the hospital, with lots of screaming and pain in the process. They gave me some strong medications (muscle relaxers and pain relievers). After a few hours, I was able to move again but slowly. Within 2 days, I was pretty much normal again. But yikes, I remember the pain and it was waaayyy too much. I have never felt that kind of pain before. Glad it's all over.

So I guess my pain tolerance is about a bit more than 50% or around 50%? lol. (can't really tell or give exact numbers for something like this anyways)

In a sense, pretty high. In another, very low. I mean, I often do what I have to without much or any hesitation, but sometimes I don't handle the pain very well. Today I skinned my leg up and down. I mean, it wasn't a biggie, but to observers, it looked worse than it was. I quickly applied hydrogen peroxide several times when I got home and I cried out, I yelled, I twitched. Mostly twitched. I feel the experience helped build character. I grew a bit, and I feel good about that. But I still struggled. I'm actually looking forward to the next experience. I really need that personal growth, although I'm not a fan of the pain...

Depends on the injury, I have had injuries where I didn't know I was injured until the next day to up to 3 days later. When I was three years old I fell off a chair and broke my arm, and that hurt really bad, and I was in pain in an instant. When I was about 10 or so. I broke a window with my fist, because I got mad at a friend of mine, and didn't know I cut my arm until I seen blood dripping when I was in the house, and that kinda freaked me out. I still have the scar on my arm obviously but never again did I break a window or get pissed off lol.

4 years ago I was out riding ATV's with some friends of mine, and we were riding on my friend's parents property, which has jumps and everything, and I came around a corner, misjudged turning and crashed hard, I was knocked out completely, and when I finally awoke, there was a decent sized puddle of blood, had small cuts on my face, nothing real deep, and my nose was bleeding, but wasn't broken. My friends, and my ex at the time were there and freaking out, and I said "what the **** happened?" Should of went to the hospital, but I didn't, ended up staying the rest of the day at my friends parents place, woke up the next morning bruised, cuts, and just a mess. I was in a lot of pain for like 3 weeks, and at the time I was working for the fish and wildlife and was out in the woods daily. It sucked, but I got my job done. It looked like I got my ass kicked in a fight lol.

Then earlier this year, I crashed an ATV again, but not as bad, and was fine, until the adrenaline wore off hours later and then I was in pain, shoulder was hurting, right arm was hurting, and my back and ribs hurt real bad. I guess that is the price you pay when you want to get a dose of adrenaline now and then
