Whatever it is we do in life, or namely at school, we probably believe we can rise to it's challenge efficiently, whether it be sports, academics, or something else that involves some sort of competition. People naturally like winning and it helps boost up one's self-esteem. Some people have a reasonable self-image; they are skilled at what they do, but believe there is always room for improvement. Others might be talented and see them in a noble manner, and love competition for the sake of furthering their agenda. Whatever the reason, self-confidence often plays a role. I'm obviously not very confident in myself, but that might change in time....

How confident would you say you are? How confident are others around you? Thanks for listening, chums.

I am supremely confident in my skills, knowledge, abilities, and if I can't get something done, I will find out who can and delegate to them.

The trick to confidence is knowing you're not the smartest guy or girl in the room. Once you know that, the rest is no big deal. But I believe if I don't know something, I can learn it, and I can improve and get better.

Other than that, I love competition for the sake of competition. I love matching my wits, my skills, my abilities, and my physical abilities against everyone and anyone else. I love putting everything I have out there against other people.

The best part, and I think a direct result of being confident, is I don't care if I win or lose. I work hard to win but losing happens and I'm okay with it. I don't get angry.

Confidence lets me try new things, experiment with different experiences, and I'm not afraid of looking silly or stupid. I want to try new things and I'm confident enough that I won't get embarrassed if I fail miserably at a new skill.

I have relentless confidence.

I'm not really a confidant person that I know of. I'm not like some other people who like to be cocky or boast about things and such about myself since I wouldn't really like it. So I'm just the quiet type who does things in the way I feel comfortable about. I like just being who I am in a way because it fits me. ^-^

It depends on what it regards.

I'm confident in my academic potential, and I know that I've been capable of more than I've put out in the past. I got what is considered very good grades last year despite often procrastinating until the day before projects were due or I was having an exam. So I know that if I really commit I should be able to do even better and get amazing grades. I'm also pretty confident in my skills as a video gamer, having platinumed a game like Bloodborne that's considered very difficult and having played lots of different games since I was little there aren't many games I'll give up on because of difficulty, unless I find them plain un enjoyable. Really I guess the things I feel confident in, are naturally areas I have more experience in than most people and I can be pretty competitive in those areas.

On the other hand when it comes to social situations in particular, making new friends, talking to girls or holding things like presentations in school, I can feel very insecure about it. Though I've been working out recently my confidence in that I'll be able to keep it up sometimes waver perhaps rightly so since I have stopped in the past even if I've never completely given up. Also while I'm confident in my academic potential, I'm not really as confident that I'll ever be able to meet that potential and stay there. It's something that requires me to not just study more but make better life choices (like making sure I get enough sleep) and perhaps cut back a bit on how much time I spend online or playing video games.

I know that it all comes down to me and I don't truly believe any of these things to be impossible just difficult. I don't really have anyone pushing me to improve other than myself though and me actually wanting to be a bit more healthy and get better grades. So far I am making a real effort which is more than I guess can be said for a lot of people. To be fair when I manage to really put my mind to something I can be very persistent about it, however it can take a lot of ups and downs for me to get to that point.

...if I'm being honest...

I'm probably one of the least confident person I know. Like... I try to be confident, and on the Internet I think I'm able to at least show people that I'm confident enough... but sometimes I doubt if I am.

I try my best to be confident in myself, I really do. But sometimes I just feel worthless and ugh...

I would say that I'm pretty confident right now, which is a HUGE improvement over how I was before I started college, which was literally the complete opposite, and then the combination of vizzed and my 2nd college had helped a lot.

To be completely honest, I feel quite confident in myself on most subjects. I never expected that of myself since I used to be so low in confidence back when I first came to this site and before that. Now, I feel good about myself, like I can achieve many things in life, and I have gotten through a lot of obstacles that helped me gain confidence in myself.
