Everyone's different. Make no mistake, every human being, despite how much collective society tries to create a template of what "normal" is like, contains personality traits and elements that sets them apart. Be it in how you think, talk, act, walk, we can't be defined simply as one thing just because others share a similar mindset. I believe all of you people in this thread are special in your own way; you just need to find out how.

What makes you different from others? What admirable traits do other people mention about you? Thanks for your time.

What makes people special is when they go out of their way to help others, especially at the sacrifice of their own fun, resources, money, time, and effort.

I like to think I'm special and I'm helping others and empowering them to make good decisions and lead outstanding lives and positively affecting others. That's what I do to make myself special.

But, deep down, I know in 150 years, no one will know my name, no one will care, I won't be in a history book for good or bad and my impact is limited in the scope of human history. That means that I'm not especially impactful in the universe.

But, that means I can do pretty much anything I want and run my life the way I see fit because there won't be anyone writing papers or judging me 100 years from now. None of it really matters so I'll do what I like and be happy doing it.

Am I special? nah. I'm literally just like every other unique snowflake out there.

I'm not really special at all. I'm pretty much your average guy. Not anything great, or anything significant worth mentioning, to be honest. Sure, I can do some things good and all, but nothing that really makes me "different" from everyone else, so to speak.

In all honesty I'm not sure. I don't say these things my friends talk about that, kind and can speak for me on this question. But, ghostbear has pretty much summed up what I was going to say in a way. I'm no different to most people in a way I am in my own way of how I do things, and how I make people smile most of the time or even everyday. As long as I give a smile to someone just being in their presence to make them happy? Is more than enough for me.

Well being Autistic I think I offer a different perspective. Me and my close friends have talked about his. How I shoot down the stereotypes that Autistic people mostly have. By my accomplishments. I also offer a unique perspective to topics. The second is that I am a Christian, people have told me they liked how I'm a friend to anybody no matter their background.

tornadocam : Not to be rude or anything, but how does being Christian make you "more friendly to people no matter their background". I know a lot of people of other religions or no religion at all that are as friendly to other backgrounds as well. I know a few judgmental Christians as well, so I don't really understand how being Christian suddenly makes you a great person or whatever. (I'm a Christian myself, by the way.)

Maybe I should have gave more details. My friends who have told me that often dealt with judgmental Christians that were very mean to them. They told me I have shown them that not all Christians are bad. That there were some of us good ones left.

Well honestly I think what makes me special is the fact that I make some great grilled cheeses. Like really great grilled cheeses. They are really good grilled cheeses. Like really good grilled cheeses.
