I'm married and that doesn't mean I get out of work. I'm responsible for taking the dog out and teaching my 2 year old to feed her. I'm responsible for refueling the cars, keeping the yard mowed and in good shape, tending the garden and the tomatoes and peppers, and weeding.

I'm also mostly in charge of cooking dinners and doing dishes afterward. My wife is putting the kids to bed so I get the kitchen cleaned up.

What do you do at your house?

I've got a couple of chores that rotates between me and my sister. So on week 1 I do chores, and the week after my sister does them.

Firstly, I vacuum and clean. I actually find this pretty relaxing and it certainly helps clear my head.

Then I take out the trash. This is easy at my mom's condo, where the garbage chute is a 15 second walk, but at my dad's I have to walk a bit further with a much heavier load since my dad's a pretty big consumer. But I don't care- I kind of enjoy the feeling I have after, similar to the feeling I have after cleaning.

Finally,  I do the laundry, though this is only on Sunday. Easy enough, put the load in, detergent in, and start it up.

Well to put an exact list up would be impossible for me since I never know what will be needed of me. Basically I take care of my mom. This is why I'm so poor too. Lol I stay home instead of holding down a job because she's...very ill. And so I help her do whatever she needs done and help with her medicine, vitals tracking, etc. When my nephews come over I pretty much do all of the taking care of them minus cooking.

I don't mind it at all. I mean she took care of me all of my childhood and teen years so it's only fitting that I return the favor now that she needs it. I would love to have a normal job so I could help my family financially (dad's not getting any younger), but for now me being home with her 24/7 is a must.

Chores? Let see....making sure my room is clean doing the dishes, the bins also making sure that the kitchen is clean. Do the cooking when I should. The clothes making sure that the electricity is off at night time I wasn't asked to do this. I took it upon myself too since it saves the bill that way so that my mother doesn't end up paying for too much. It really does help her since there isn't a lot for that to pay by. To remind mum when the gas goes low so she can pay in more. I think that's about what I can remember for my one. @.@

I'm pretty much responsible for all of the chores in my house. Cooking, cleaning, making sure my cats always have food and water, ect. I also do all of the laundry for the entire house. I pretty much just do everything for everyone in the house.

I'm not really assigned anything. Our household is pretty chaotic that way. Basically, my self-centered, perpetually drunken excuse for a human being, let alone a mother, pretends to do everything, and then either me, my dad or my sister has to redo it to actually get it right, in addition to running damage control. And dad's usually out working, trying to make enough money to keep the utilities on. I basically babysit my almost 47 year old "mom" so she doesn't burn the food, cook with dirty dishes, burn the house down after passing out with a lit cigarette, blow the house up by leaving the gas stove on, etc.

Mine are: Watering animals, hauling grain bags and hay bales, heavy lifting of any sort (I actually enjoy  lifting so this is OK), being a bodyguard very occasionally, fixing random things from time to time, that's about it for me.

I live on my own, so basically everything minus cutting the grass. Adulting isn't what it's cracked up to be.

I don't really do much to help out around the house. I take the trash out every week. I'm responsible for vacuuming the house and keeping the carpets clean and stuff. I also clean the cabinets when they start to get a little bit dirty. That's basically it, but I'm probably going to have to do a lot more in a few years, when I get to college.
